Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Special Weapons clip keeps the destruction inventive
Final four tools of death-dealing revealed
How did Ratchet & Clank survive the great onslaught of “Plucky Hero and Pint-Sized Wiseass” platformers that marked the last generation of consoles? Three words: ridiculous freakin' weaponry. Guns bigger than the protagonists and more inventive than a Thomas Edison/Nikola Tesla brainstorming session are what's kept the series going, and Sony knows this – which is why it's released the latest in a steady stream of trailers devoted to the arsenal of the upcoming Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.
This here's the concluding, “Special Weapons” chapter of the ongoing video series devoted to the destructive accoutrements of All 4 One – which is either an implication that in this game, something called the"Darkstar Fission Tether" isn't even all that special, or the tacit admission that the"Arc Lasher" and "Frost Cannon" were knocked together on a Friday afternoon five minutes before the staff headed out for drinks. Either way, these character-centric antagonism-aids suggest some cool gameplay possibilities when the game launches on October 18, right?
