What is Planetside 2? The follow-up to 2003's Planetside, SOE's new massively multiplayer online shooter posits a far-future world in which three opposing factions vie for control of the planet Auraxis. The free-to-play, microtransaction supported game features six different classes (each with their own specializations) as well as vehicular combat.
