Peggle 2 and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare first on Xbox One
Xbox One and PopCap
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Peggle 2 are coming first to Xbox One, and the latter is a launch title. PopCap Games announced a multi-game deal with Microsoft at the latter's Gamescom conference earlier today.
Garden Warfare's unique class-based, third-person shooting will support 24-person multiplayer, as well as four-player and split-screen co-op. It will also integrate both Kinect and SmartGlass functionality, and include game modes and items exclusive to the Xbox One version.
Peggle 2 will also allow for Kinect support across dozens of sparkling, shimmering new puzzles. Xbox Live's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb didn't specify how long it will remain an Xbox One exclusive, but we expect to see it popping up on other consoles, PCs, and mobile devices before too long.
PopCap also unveiled the first major content update for Plants vs. Zombies 2 titled Far Future at EA's Gamescom briefing. The game's been downloaded 16 million times in just five days since launch.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.

Oh, that's why the Stellar Blade devs were terrified by demo players: one fan's spent "about 60 hours" maxing Eve's skill tree before the action RPG is even out
