As all Toy Story fans know, Woody and co are to kindly return to cinema screens in Pixar short Small Fry , which will be shown before The Muppets - and a new image has arrived online!
Small Fry will see Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen) replaced by a miniscule fast-food version of himself, forcing the real Buzz to deal with a support group for discarded toys.
Returning characters include Hamm (John Ratzenberger), Jessie (Joan Cusack) and everyone’s favourite cowboy, Woody (Tom Hanks), who's the first to notice the switch. There’s also new character in the form of the self-important support group leader, Neptuna – voiced by Glee ’s Jane Lynch.
Writer/director Angus MacLane says “Jane has an appealing way of being demeaning to people but where you still like her. Right away, she got the character!”
Update: Another new image of the 'real' Buzz has landed online (via Collider ), check it out:
The Muppets hits US screens on 23 November, but the UK will have to wait until 17 February 2012. Boo!
