Hot on the heels of yesterday’s explosive teaser clip a brand new trailer has arrived for Mad Max: Fury Road that’s equally as raucous as earlier previews. Returning to the sun-scorched locales previously inhabited by the titular road warrior, director George Miller’s next foray into those ruinous wastelands promises some even crazier antics.
The fourth film in the franchise traces a new adventure for the fearless Max (Tom Hardy) as he careens across the arid landscapes of a post-apocalyptic world in a bid to help the brilliantly-named Furiosa (Charlize Theron) reach her childhood home. Of course no Mad Max movie would be complete without a barrage of goons on their tails, and Fury Road is no different.
Feast your eyes on the new trailer below:
That's quite a trailer right there. Giving more of a glimpse of the movie's minimal plotting, Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) comes to the fore, setting the film's epic chase in motion. And what a chase it looks like, with enough vehicular carnage to make Fast & Furious look low-key. Hardy's Max is expected to have barely any dialogue in movie, but he certainly makes his presence felt here, as does Charlize Theron's badass Furiosa.
Co-starring Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Riley Keough, Mad Max: Fury Road hits UK and US cinemas on 14 May 2015.
