The thing about buying new tech is...sometimes it takes awhile to learn how it all works. You have to download all your own apps again, the factory settings need to be adjusted, and even the simplest actions can be a challenge. Why are we saying all this? Well, when we got our new PS4, an embarrassing situation happened. We put a disc in the console, played one of the best PS4 games, and had a few hours of fun. Only, when we wanted to eject the damn thing, we were completely lost. So as to not have this incident repeat for other gamers, we wanted to provide the solution to finding that invisible eject button on the original PS4, which can be seen in the image below.
There it is. All you need to do is press that button. That tiny, tiny button. The one right below the disc drive, and in the crack. See it? Easy right?
It's the same story with the PS4 Pro. Look along the glowing line down from the power button and you'll see the tiny icon. It's a little hidden and annoying to press, but it's there alright.
With the new PS4 (commonly known as the PS4 Slim), Sony has made the whole ejecting process a lot more simple by positioning a physical, properly pressable, eject button next to the power button.
Still not working? We suggest going here.
