Avengers Assemble
Marvel is prepping an Avengers movie for a possible 2011 release, according to comments made by Marvel Studios' president of production Kevin Feige in an article in USA Today . In the piece, Iron Man director Jon Favreau also reveals the current line-up of superheroes being considered: "The ones Marvel is talking about now are Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Ant-Man and Iron Man. I would love to see that." No ladies on the team, then? What about the Wasp or the Scarlet Witch?

Virtual Star
The star of cancelled New Amsterdam, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, wasn’t out of a job long. He’s now been snapped up to front Virtuality, the new spaceship-based series from ex-Trek writers Ron Moore and Michael Taylor. The series, which sounds like an extended Voyager holodeck episode, is set aboard Earth's first starship to be equipped with advanced virtual reality modules. Coster-Waldau will play mission commander Frank Pike, says The Hollywood Reporter .
