9) Kid + Serge (Chrono Cross, PSone)
Who they are: A small-town boy and the asexually produced clone/daughter of a chick from a different game.
Why they're the best: These two lovebirds met in a romantic beach setting, after Kid was hurled through time by her mother/original form to save Serge from drowning. Kid and Serge have a lot of hang-ups to work through (like the bad guy swapping bodies with Serge and shanking Kid), but through perseverance and a beautiful credits-sequence montage, the pair overcomes just about everything to end up married.
What they teach us: Let nothing stand in the way of true love - not dimensional barriers, not post-traumatic stress disorder and not modern laws of genetics.
