Who they are: A commoner who became the Savior King of Ivalice after marrying the princess Ovelia, and the imposter of the real Ovelia, who dies before the game even starts.

Why they're the best: Nothing says "I love you" like a good kidnapping. Sure, Delita is possessive - but he only does it to protect Ovelia. Kidnapping her at the beginning of the game saved her from assassins, right? And though his marriage to her technically secures his accession to the throne of Ivalice, he loves her for who she is: the substitute chick they brought in to replace the real Princess Ovelia after she dies sometime during the war.

What they teach us: Love makes you do crazy things, like attack your much-stronger lover with a knife after the credits sequence.
