I'm just going to say it right now, I can't imagine anything more dangerous than having a naked flame in the room when you're lost in VR. As someone who has banged her head on a coffee table/spilt tea, coffee and water and fallen over my sofa, I can attest to the fact that virtual reality is a dangerous place. Regardless, here's an official Resident Evil 7 candle to let you smell the horror. As if getting up close and personal with the Baker family in VR wasn't enough.
From Numskull, the candle apparently "enhances the horrifying experience" with its scent which has been "specifically tailored for the game" and you can pick it up for £10/$14. An earlier report said that it smelled of blood but that is definitely false and there is not an artery scented candle on the market. Sorry, Hannibal, back to Ikea for you.
So yes, 4D horror in candle form, and please, if it smells like something else is burning? It's probably you. Don't be this guy.
