Full report from the amazing live-action event that launched The Witcher 2 (plus: you can win a copy of the ultra-rare Dark Edition)
We’ll let you in on a little secret, often press events aren’t as exciting as you think they would be. We’ve been on many a set visit where we’ve seen little more than the inside of a mucky white room only to have minor celebrities wheeled out in front of us at random intervals.
Last week, however, we went to an event for The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Enhanced Edition where we participated in our own live action Role Playing Game! After downing mead and rustic bread in a suitably medieval pub we were separated into teams of fours and began our quest. Our first stop: an audience with the King! Unfortunately it all went downhill pretty quickly when the King ended up poisoned and lifeless on the table.
The Dark Edition of the The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Enhanced Edition (out now of Xbox 360 and PC) provides extra content that any person would want to get their hands on. Due to its high popularity, the Dark Edition is now very rare, having sold-out worldwide.
The Dark Edition includes:
GAME DVD - The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition. First DVD.
GAME DVD - The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition. Second DVD.

Pretty sweet, eh? And all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is answer the following simple question .

I'm the Managing Editor, Entertainment here at GamesRadar+, overseeing the site's film and TV coverage. In a previous life as a print dinosaur, I was the Deputy Editor of Total Film magazine, and the news editor at SFX magazine. Fun fact: two of my favourite films released on the same day - Blade Runner and The Thing.
