The Walking Dead season 7 images spotlight new and returning characters

The Walking Dead is a little over two months away from returning to our TV screens, and while much of the hype is focused on Negan's victim there's still plenty to look forward to elsewhere. Entertainment Weekly have unveiled six new images to that effect, and you can check them out below...

Like the vast majority of The Walking Dead's season 7 marketing, these images are carefully selected so as to not reveal any survivors of Negan's wrath. That means we get fresh (and unrevealing) looks at Morgan, Ezekiel, Carol, and Jesus, - all of whom we already knew were safe - and that's perfectly fine at this stage. Here's hoping that the identity of Negan's victim remains secret until the season 7 premiere.

Season 7 of The Walking Dead will debut on AMC in October 2016.
