With a name that clearly stems from "eradicate," you'd think ol' Raticate would be an unstoppable force in the Poke-world. Well, that's not quite the case, but early in the game he's a sweet 'mon to have in your group. Later moves like the HP-halving Super Fang make Raticate a formidable opponent in the first half of the adventure, but not so much beyond that.
