Ted Raimi has spilled all the beans he can – only about half a tin, but TF is a tin half-full kind of site – about the remake of The Evil Dead .
Raimi was doing press interviews for his series of horror shorts airing at Break.com and admitted he didn't know if he'd be involved in the impending remake.
“I don’t even know if [ Diablo Cody ] has finished the script yet,” he told Fangoria .
“I can say this: I think the new Evil Dead is going to be fantastic. I believe Rob Tapert is producing it again and I’m fairly certain it will be shot in New Zealand.”
Raimi said Tapert is fond of New Zealand as he shot both the Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Xena: Warrior Princess TV shows there.
“I’m guessing some American actors will probably go over there for it, but other than that, I don’t know anything about it,” he admitted.
