Where to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon, and how to secure a cheeky discount at the same time
If you want to get the box set for less, these are the stores to prioritize
Now that we're staring down the barrel of 11th Edition's imminent release, the race is on to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon. And make no mistake, it is a race; getting our hands on the launch box is going to be difficult. The sheer weight of demand has seen to that.
This is why I've rounded up a hit list of the most reliable retailers here. Because the set is sure to sell out on the official Warhammer store in minutes, the following options will be your best bet if you want to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon when pre-orders go live this Saturday, June 5. They typically offer discounts on all things Warhammer as well, so your money will go further.
No matter what, speed is of the essence. Releases like this always sell out fast, so you'll want to be camping on the following stores come 10am local time on June 6.
Where to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon in the US
It goes without saying that you'll be able to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon direct from Games Workshop, but it's likely to sell out fast - and you'll be paying full price. With that in mind, I'd keep a very close eye on the following stores. These range from the well-known to indie alternatives, and they typically discount Warhammer products by up to 20% or so. I've listed ones I've had personal experience with higher up, but have also included a host of others from the community's very useful list of stockists on reddit.
Miniature Market | Check stock
This reliable indie store doesn't always get Warhammer products right away, but when it does, they're always available at a discount. I'd keep it bookmarked as a result.

Amazon | Check stock
It won't get stock right away, but Amazon will be a good place to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon when the initial rush has died down. That's because it drops a listing without any kind of warning, and often lowers the price too.

Rogue Traders | Check stock
This store is always very quick to the punch, and it's already gearing up for an early pre-order drop. Indeed, you'll apparently be able to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon online from 00:00am EST on June 6. That means it's almost go time, people.

CMO Games | Check stock
Here's another solid choice, and it has the distinction of already having posted a listing for Armageddon... complete with a countdown timer. As per usual, you're gonna have to move very quickly to take advantage of any availability here. It'll get snapped up fast.

Brookhurst Hobbies | Check stock
Much like CMO, Brookhurst Hobbies has a listing page to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon already. There's no countdown timer here though, so we'll just have to watch and wait in the hope stock appears.

Warhammer | Check stock
In goes without saying that you can buy direct from the source, but there won't be any kind of discount here... and stock will get snapped up fast. Speed is of the essence here.

eBay | Check stock
Honestly, I'm only suggesting this for the sake of being thorough... but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have no other choice. You'll find a lot of resellers here, and they will overinflate the cost of the box set to capitalize on demand.

Where to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon in the UK
If you're trying to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon in the UK, you can obviously head straight to Warhammer... but don't expect any kind of reduction. As such, I'd keep a close eye on the following stores. They traditionally knock anywhere between 10 and 20% off new Games Workshop products, meaning you're getting a bargain on the hottest items.
Wayland Games | Check stock
This tends to be my go-to source of Warhammer deals, because it always gets stock in early and at a discount. Unfortunately, everyone else knows that... so you'll need to move quickly if you want to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon here.

Zatu Games | Check stock
Much like Wayland Games, I find Zatu to be consistently reliable when it comes to new Warhammer products. Sadly, that means it sells out just as fast.

Magic Madhouse | Check stock
This is another very reliable option that I've used a lot myself in the past. It tends to offer respectable price cuts on new Warhammer, so I'm expecting the same if you want to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon.

Amazon | Check stock
It doesn't tend to get stock until after the fact, but Amazon will be one to watch if you want to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon. That's because it often gets product after everyone else has run out, and it's usually at a discount too. One to keep in your back pocket if you're not successful to begin with, basically.

Element Games | Check stock
I find this indie store to be quite reliable, for the most part. It's served me well when trying to find out-of-stock items before now, because it's been known to get them back in after the fact.

Firestorm Games | Check stock
I tend to have this one in a similar bracket to Element Games; it's not necessarily my go-to, but has been very reliable when I have used it.

Warhammer | Check stock
Unsurprisingly, you'll be able to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon right from the source. However, it won't be discounted and is gonna get snapped up fast.

eBay | Check stock
I don't like to recommend it for items such as this because eBay is full of resellers charging outrageously inflated prices, but I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't say it was an option.

Warhammer 40K Armageddon FAQ
Not entirely sold on the launch box for Warhammer 40K 11th Edition just yet? Here's a whistle-stop tour of everything you should know about Armageddon.
When does Warhammer 40K Armageddon go up for pre-order?
The Warhammer 40,000 Armageddon box set goes up for pre-order on Saturday June 6, 2026. Times vary based on your region. Here's a breakdown of when you can expect to buy the box set:
- US & Canada: 10am PDT
- UK: 10am BST
- Australia: 10am AWST
When does Warhammer 40K Armageddon come out?
Warhammer pre-orders typically release two weeks after going up for sale, so I suspect we'll be getting our Armageddon box sets on June 20, 2026.
Will it be hard to buy Warhammer 40K Armageddon?
Unfortunately, I suspect it'll be very difficult to get our hands on the Warhammer 40K Armageddon launch box. There are a few reasons for this, but the primary one is demand. This is the most highly-anticipated launch of the year for Warhammer fans, and it feels as though everyone is clamoring for a copy. The inevitable influx of resellers won't help either, so beware their inflated prices on sites like eBay.
Is Warhammer 40K Armageddon worth buying?
I went hands on with Warhammer 40K Armageddon ahead of time, and it's Christmas come early for fans. While beginners won't necessarily be best served here (it lacks dice or terrain, and is quite overwhelming in scale), established players or wargamers that are curious about moving over to 40K will find a lot to love. Besides providing the full core rules in an easy-to-transport format alongside beautifully sculpted Ork and Space Marine armies with all-new models, it includes cards for competitive or campaign play across the 2026/7 season. That means it's the best kick-off to 11th Edition you could hope for; you're ready for anything.
Yes, there are sure to be starter sets down the line which will include many of the same models. Nevertheless, you aren't likely to get those cards or the full core rules with them. So long as they want to add to/start Ork or Space Marine armies, that means fans are best diving in with Armageddon rather than waiting for future releases.

I've been writing about games in one form or another since 2012, but these days you'll find me managing GamesRadar+'s tabletop gaming and toy coverage (I spend my time here handling everything from board game reviews to the latest Lego news). I've also been obsessed with Warhammer since the 1990s, and love nothing more than running tabletop RPGs like D&D as a Dungeon Master.
