Sullivan Stapleton stars in new poster for 300: Rise Of An Empire

300: Rise Of An Empire has released a brand new poster online, starring Sullivan Stapleton as the Greek general charged with carrying the fight to the marauding Persian hordes.

Stapleton will be playing Themistocles, the Greek warrior heading up the new naval front upon which the battle for his nation’s future will now be played out.

Sadly for him, he’s battling with an unfortunate tagline. Does anyone else think “seize your glory” has room for misinterpretation?

At least he’s got a CGI six-pack to console himself with. Even Leonidas would have been proud of that little number.

Directed by Noam Murro and co-starring Lena Headey, David Wenham and Eva Green, 300: Rise Of An Empire will open in the UK on 7 March 2014.
