The interesting thing about SoulCalibur's roster is that choosing a character is as much about choosing your favourite weapon type as it is anything else. You might find Ivy's get-up a tad distasteful, but there's no getting past the fact that an enchanted whip-sword is pretty much the coolest thing going.
With that in mind, there seems to be a new chance for us to make our murder implement of choice known once more - Project Soul, the development team behind the series, is asking us to vote for our favourite characters over on the series' Facebook page - and it's not entirely clear why.
As Siliconera reports, the post says that "Project Soul is probably preparing something huge". And it looks as though that could well be a new entry in the series, rather than an update to the much-maligned, free-to-play Lost Swords - a follow-up post says: "let me add that this survey is NOT related to SoulCalibur Lost Swords but for the brand in general".
I'm not going to lie, part of me hopes they drop some new, hideously unbalanced Star Wars characters in there for old times' sake.
