Sony laid off network security experts two weeks before PSN security breach

Citing a %26ldquo;confidential witness,%26rdquo; the lawsuit also contends that Sony %26ldquo;spent lavishly,%26rdquo; paying millions to protect sensitive company data after the initial attack, but did not offer PSN users the same protections.

The suit was filed by plaintiffs Felix Cortorreal, Jacques Daoid Jr. and Jimmy Cortorreal, who are seeking actual damages in the amount paid for the equipment and network in addition to other forms of relief, reportsGamasutra.
