Sega deploying Iron Man to next-gen

Spidey, Hulk and the X-Men may serve Activision, but everyone's favorite (only?) drunken millionaire playboy is coming to next-gen systems courtesy of Sega. The publisher giant has secured rights to both the comic book version of Iron Man and the forthcoming film, due May 2, 2008. Not that excited? How's this: Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Iron Man's true identity. Dude. It's aperfect fit (opens in new tab).

We're hoping for a Spider-Man 2-style game with an open city and plenty of odd jobs for the overpowered hero to perform. Or maybe Sega will take a page from the current Marvel Civil War and we'll fly around busting up unregistered super heroes. Don't know what Civil War is? Then why are you even reading about an Iron Man game? Seriously.
