Capcom has provided an update on its Resident Evil 6 DLC plans for consoles and PC.
The previously announced Siege mode will be available in March for Xbox 360 and PS3, priced at 320 Microsoft Points (£2.74 / $4) and $3.99 / €3.99 / £3.19 respectively.
And next month PS3 owners will receive access to the formerly Xbox 360 exclusive Survivors, Predator and Onslaught game modes, with each individually priced at $3.99 / €3.99 / £3.19.
Meanwhile, the Resident Evil 6 PC release date has been set for March 22, and the game will launch with a new exclusive mode dubbed The Mercenaries: No Mercy, which evolves the series’ existing Mercenaries mode by including “more enemies on screen than ever before”. Both the digital and physical versions of the PC game will include the features added to the console versions in post-launch title updates. These include access to Ada Wong’s campaign from the outset and the option to play it with a co-op partner, plus the ability to fine tune the in-game camera.
Capcom said all four post-launch game add on modes - Survivors, Predator, Onslaught and Siege - will be available for PC owners to download “shortly after March 22, with any future title updates for the console version also being made available free of charge for PC owners”. In addition, next month PC owners will be able to check out how the game runs on their machine by participating in a free benchmark test.
