PS2 does motion-sensitive gaming

This pool simonly registers forward/backward motion and elevation, so you can't turn left and right to angle your cue. The elevation feature looks pretty impressive, but doesn't really affect the trajectory of the ball as topspin/screwback are handled with the d-pad on top of the cue. The game itself seems a solid enough simulation and features many variations of pool, along with snooker too. Using the cue to take a gentle shot resulted in a long delay, although when the shot did finally play out, it was accurate enough. Hard shots are pretty instant. We do feel that the cue could be longer, however - we couldn't use it like a real cue because it was too short. Children should be fine, though.
