How To Beat The Prince's Father

Don't Forget To Use Haste

Don't Forget to use the power of haste when in trouble. Works the best in the battles towards the end, the elevator part, and right after you exit the torture chamber.

Ok, when Farah tricks you into losing the dagger, you can no longer fight worth a crap. SO just go on your merry way down the hall and pass the creatures till you get to the room with all these weird mirrors. The big hint is to not let the light even go to the first wall mirror by using the other mirror in the lower section. Then use the two other mirrors in the top of the section to go to the sun. It took me an hour to figure this out so im saving you time. Oh, and this sword can defeat ANY creature with one hit for some odd reason, so don't run anymore. Huh, I thought only the dagger could kill em. O well the sword looks awesome and is incredibly strong for the final battle so good luck

How To Kill The Prince's Father Easier

There's a part in the game when you have to fight the prince's dad. this part can be difficult as there are tones of fellow's besides his dad trying to get you and you cant freeze them to get more health! so, the easiest thing to do on the second you get in there BLOCK! and wait until one of them is vulnerable (but don't just stand there! walk around). the best way to kill the red lads is to run up them and attack, you do that by pressing X and then square and then of course triangle to finish him off (this will also work for you throughout the rest of the game). but you CANNOT run up the blue guards as they will knock you down and take a good bit off your health. so, make sure all the red guards are gone and then take out the blue ones. don't try to get the dad during this because he will just block your moves and then one of the other guys will get you. you can kill the blue guys the usual way but they frequently block so just wait until they stop. when everyone else is dead its just you and the dad... so just kill him the usual way (but it will take longer as he blocks all the time as well!). REMEMBER!!!: you have to protect farrah as well as fight everyone else so when she calls for help you unfortunately have to help her.

In the zoo on the bridge between the tower and the barracks use roll and dodge to escape them so you don't have to fight them

When you reach a certain point of the second level, go over a hill and pull the switch, then break the wall. You will see a message "This will be rebuilt in another time..." Then you go on to pull another switch, and then break a wall that looks non-breakable. Hit it THREE TIMES. Then you will see a message " You have unlocked Prince of Persia 2.

First he will make a copy of himself and all you need to do is just attack (square) and block his attacks (R1). He will make a copy of himself three times. Then after you beat the third one, run to the real guy and you will do an upward swing. He'll fly out the window but he won't give up. You two will talk for a minute then you will fight him directly. But all you need to do is just five easy swings and he's dead and game over.

This is pretty easy to remember. If the guy you are fighting is blue and grey they will always attack you when you try to jump over them but they can't block any of your wall bound attacks. If the guy you are fighting is red and grey then they can block your wall bound attacks but they won't hurt you if you try to jump over them.

HINT: the red and grey guys won't block your wall bound attacks until after you beat the prince's father

After you get your new sword, (the first one you can break walls with), continue on your merry way out of the baths, the next area will be a massive open cavern like area, full of jumping navigation puzzles, after that room, there is a small room with one of those turny switches, turn it so it's 180 degrees from the way you entered, now both doors should be closed. Run up to the wall that the switch is facing, and break open the wall, you should receive a message that says "Prince of Persia 1 is now unlocked". Select 'ok', and you've done it. Continue to walk forward, towards the stair case that you'll see, and it will let you save your game, then ask you if you want to continue going that way and play the original Prince of Persia. If you want to continue playing Sands of Time, select no, and you can go back and play the original in the Extras menu of the main game menu.

After the vizier has made you unleashed the sands of time, you have to find a way out as the castle is falling apart. so, you are standing in a big room that looks like a ballroom or something, you'll see the door that farrah ran through but then closed. don't worry because the curtain that is flowing back and forth is hiding the way out.

You'll need to start from the Above the Baths save, once you have your new sword. Go down the stairwell that leads to a large cavernous area. After you make it through this area, you'll end up in a small room with Farah. There's a lever and gear in the center of the room. Turn it clockwise until it clicks twice. Both doors in the room are now closed, but you have also opened a secret door that you cannot see. Go to the wall directly opposite the entrance. Swing until you find a spot on the wall where your sword doesn't spark. Strike this area a few times to reveal a hidden room. Enter to unlock the game, which is now available from the main menu.

When you get into the temple of water here's an easy way to pass the spike poles. first you notice they go back and forth the opposite way. what you need to do is go to the middle pole and go forward when it goes forward. then move to the any side of the middle pole. then your through the spikes.
