Pre-orders for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD have gone live on Steam, and as is to be expected, there are a few bonuses for those willing to plunk down cash early. First, there's 10% off, which is pretty standard for Steam. But there's more temptation lying in wait here, including an exclusive … loading screen. For Dota 2. Yes, really.
To be fair, pre-ordering Type-0 HD via Steam will also net you a few other bonuses - a Moogle ward skin and Chocobo courier skin - but still, an exclusive loading screen as an advertised bonus and pre-order incentive is a little bizarre, especially considering the content isn't even for the game you're pre-ordering.
The good news is players of the PC version will still get some new content that console players miss out on, such as "increased blood levels" and "scalable motion blur" among other platform-specific graphical enhancements. You know, the little things that really come together to make a Final Fantasy game. Like loading screens, apparently.
