Star Wars: Episode 8 is currently filming, and while the secrecy surrounding the production is unsurprisingly high a group of urban explorers managed to track down the location of the Millennium Falcon. Photographic evidence of their escapade has emerged online on Oblivion State (via Making Star Wars), and you can check them out below...
The images reveal the impressive amount of practical work that goes into creating the Falcon, both on the interior and the exterior. The "fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy" got a great re-introduction in The Force Awakens, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Rian Johnson plans to utilise the iconic vessel in Episode 8.
Directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Laura Dern, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Benicio del Toro, Star Wars: Episode 8 opens in cinemas on December 15, 2017.
