Sackboy gets new PS Moves for DLC-packed re-release

Sony is giving Sackboy and friends another shot at retail glory with the release of a LittleBigPlanet 2: Special Edition and a Sackfolk-themed PlayStation Move bundle in North America on November 15th.

Announced on the US PlayStation Blog, the upgraded edition will ship with enhanced PS Move functionality and $35 dollars in extra content like the LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack: Rise of the Cakeling, which features five new levels, seven mini-levels, new creative tools, zany decorations, and the means to create your own PS Move enabled worlds. It will also include the Disney/Pixar Toy Story Level Pack, featuring five new worlds, two mini-levels, one alien costume, and other Toy Story extras; the Disney/Pixar Toy Story Costume Pack, containing the ingredients to hop around as Buzz Lightyear, Slinky Dog, and other familiar Toy Story characters; and a ton of animal costumes collected from the Cats Costume Pack, Dogs Costume Pack, and Even More Animals Costume Pack.

Also on November 15th, Sony will be releasing a LBP2:SE PS Move bundle to compliment the special edition's upgraded motion controls. According to the PlayStation Blog, the bundle will sell for $129.99 ($99.99 right now at Amazon), while the special edition alone will retail at $59.99. At time of print, a UK version has not yet been announced.
