The Wolverine has released a brand new image online, featuring the titular hero looking as mean and moody as ever.
The new image shows Logan scowling against a Japanese background, appropriate enough since the new film finds him in the heart of modern Japan.
The story will pick up some time after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand , and will find Wolverine travelling to the Far East alone once more.
He’s not on his lonesome for long though, as he soon falls in love with a beautiful local girl. Trouble is, her father is something of a big wheel in the Japanese mob…
Directed by James Mangold and co-starring Will Yun Lee and Rila Fukushima, The Wolverine will open in the UK on 26 July 2013.
