Rockstar have confirmed that the long-awaited GBA version of Grand Theft Auto will finally be released this autumn. However, in typically coy fashion, the company has yet to reveal any details about the game whatsoever.
We'd imagine that it's being coded by handheld specialists Rockstar Leeds - formerly Mobius Entertainment and the people behind the . As such, we wouldn't be surprised to see the game offer a Max Payne-style isometric viewpoint. We're expecting further details from Rockstar in the very near future - we'll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything.
Meanwhile, the same financial report that mentions the GBA version of GTA also confirms release dates for another pair of forthcoming Rockstar games. Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, the third instalment in the street racing series, will be released for PS2 and Xbox this Christmas, as will the PS2-only The Warriors, which is based on the classic 1979 gang movie of the same name.
