The Batman-themed downloadable shooter, Gotham City Imposters is beginning a closed beta next month for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. You cansign up nowfor a chance to participate, and you'll be notified when the beta goes live. Putting your name in the hat only requires you have email address and a willingness to agree to the non-disclosure agreement- though we strongly suspect Batman has neither.
The game is being developed by Monolith, the creators of FEAR and Condemned, but GCI looks more cartoonish than the developer's previous games. It features a band of wannabee Batmen going up against a gang of Joker imitators with players choosing their side and role in fashion similar to Team Fortress 2's class system.
