It's time to get your expectations in check if you were anticipating a big update for Arc Raiders this week, as Embark says nothing "major" is arriving in the coming days, but hey, at least Shrouded Sky is now confirmed for next week.
In a message shared in the official Arc Raiders Discord server, community lead Ossen confirms: "This week, there'll be no major game update or a store rotation but stay tuned for Shrouded Sky coming next week!"
Despite that, Embark "will be sharing some news later today," so we'll have to wait to see what that is. In the meantime, fans are thanked for their "patience."
Arc Raiders' Shrouded Sky update was previously scheduled to release at some point in February, per Embark's 2026 roadmap, so it's still on track for that, albeit perhaps arriving a bit later than some folks might have liked being in the final week of the month. But hey, that tracks with the Headwinds update arriving at the end of January, so it was to be expected.
Embark has had quite a lot on its plate to deal with lately, too. Last week, a duplication glitch went viral online, prompting the devs to quickly hotfix it out, and was immediately followed by an even worse infinite ammo exploit that saw folks giving weapons like the Ferro and Hullcracker enormous magazine sizes, allowing them to keep firing for ages without reloading. This was also hotfixed swiftly.
As for what to expect from Shrouded Sky next week, Embark previously revealed that it'll include a map update, as well as a new map condition, Arc threat, Raider Deck, player project, and expedition window. There's no doubt we can expect more details on those soon.

I'm GamesRadar+'s Deputy News Editor, working alongside the rest of the news team to deliver cool gaming stories that we love. After spending more hours than I can count filling The University of Sheffield's student newspaper with Pokemon and indie game content, and picking up a degree in Journalism Studies, I started my career at GAMINGbible where I worked as a journalist for over a year and a half. I then became TechRadar Gaming's news writer, where I sourced stories and wrote about all sorts of intriguing topics. In my spare time, you're sure to find me on my Nintendo Switch or PS5 playing through story-driven RPGs like Xenoblade Chronicles and Persona 5 Royal, nuzlocking old Pokemon games, or going for a Victory Royale in Fortnite.
