A prominent Resident Evil leaker claims that the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem DLC will feature a series favorite in some way, which is another win for the Leon shippers, depending on who you're rooting for.
Last week, Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem will be getting a DLC expansion, which felt like an inevitability anyway – especially when the game has already sold 6 million copies – but it's good to have it in writing. Naturally, since then, fans have been speculating over what the DLC may actually be. Could it be a continuation of Leon's or Grace's story? A returning character like Claire or Jill visiting Raccoon City during the story of Requiem? Or pull a Resident Evil 7 and Village and give us an entirely new protagonist.
Leaker DuskGolem – who is typically on point when it comes to Resident Evil leaks, at least – says there was a public slip-up that seems to imply that Ada Wong will be a part of Resident Evil Requiem's DLC. The leaker hasn't revealed exactly what the mistake was, but says they think it would get someone in trouble and chose not to share the specific details.
Over on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit discussing DuskGolem's comments, one user notes that it's "Exciting times for Aeon fans. Also this gives the 'Leon is most likely married to Ada' people some gas." While another reckons it will reveal that Ada is "Leon’s sugar mama. She got him the car."
