A first trailer has surfaced for Paul Rudd / Jennifer Aniston vehicle Wanderlust , and despite all our initial misgivings, it’s actually pretty funny.
Rudd and Aniston play a pair of jaded city-dwellers, who find themselves joining a community of free spirits when Rudd’s character gets the boot from his job. Take a look at the trailer below…
It certainly doesn’t look like your run of the mill Aniston rom-com, what with all the male nudity and toilet humour on display. That said, Rudd certainly seems to have bagged most of the best lines – “yes, we noticed your penis earlier,” being the pick of the bunch.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Judd Apatow is on board in a production capacity, whilst David Wain (the man behind the camera on Role Models ) gets credits for both writing and directing.
Alan Alda, Ray Liotta and Justin Theroux are all among the supporting cast, while Malin Akerman takes on an eye-catching role as a free-love advocating member of the Elysium commune. The film lands in the UK on 2 March 2012.
