The curtain has officially fallen on Cyber Monday Meta Quest deals for another year. While the event is technically over, there are still some deals available. Surprisingly, it's the cheaper accessories that are now back to full price. There are still a few bundles and headset deals still available but act fast if you're trying to get something. Shopping at this time of year can always get pretty competitive, and stock levels will likely be low for the offers that are still live.

We've been covering Meta Quest deals for years now, and although we didn't have an official game bundle thrown into the equation this year, you could still make the most of the new Quest 3's launch bundle. Then, of course, there are the accessories, and we saw loads of discounts on those. Quite a few were Amazon Prime-exclusive deals, so if any are remaining,  you may or may not need to take out a free trial to get the best prices.

You'll find all the discounts that are still around down below. If you're interested in a Quest 2, you're in luck, there are a couple of discounts that are ongoing that could get you some store credit from the retailer you buy from.

What to expect from Cyber Monday Meta Quest deals in 2023

Meta Quest 3

We were all set for disappointment last year, following Meta's price surge on the Quest 2 headset. However, while the $399.99 / £399.99 base MSRP stayed the same over the holiday window, we were treated to significant savings which still worked to offer excellent value. That's because we saw $50 / £50 off the 128GB model and $70 / £70 off the 256GB model with free copies of Beat Saber and Resident Evil 4 packed in. Overall, the value here stuck to within the same level offered in previous sales, where we enjoyed a $50 / £50 gift card with each system at its previous $299.99 / £299.99 price.

In 2023, things remain to be seen. The price rise of the Quest 2 gave way at the beginning of the Summer when the Quest 3 was revealed, bringing it back to the retail prices we had seen previously. I would hedge bets on there being some Quest 2 bundles again this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but whether there's a price drop remains to be seen. The Quest 3 launched in October, so the strategy from Meta remains to be seen. Usually with new products, companies want to direct attention to it, and not give new reasons to grab an older model. That said, Meta has told us that they want to support the Quest 2 and Quest Pro after the new model has taken over, so you really never know what form this could take. We could see one bundle for any Quest headset purchase, even if it doesn't bring about a strict discount.

What's always certain is that there will be plenty of Meta Quest 2 and 3 accessory deals this Cyber Monday. Big sales events like these always give you a good opportunity to add a little battery life, a little more comfort, and more personalization to your VR loadout. With Meta taking more ownership over the Quest 3's accessories than they did with Quest 2, this could be to bargain hunters' detriment.

There's also the question of the Quest Pro, which we reviewed earlier this year. While we weren't big fans of it, demand has been pretty low - perhaps due to the Metaverse falling flat on its face, but also due to the price of the headset being pretty high. To try and ship some units, I can see some price drops for the Quest Pro, but again, with the Quest 3 cleaning house, I'm not sure a lot of faith can be put into Meta dropping the price of a device that hasn't performed all that well.

Should you buy a Meta Quest Pro this Cyber Monday?

It's getting harder and harder to recommend the Meta Quest Pro these days, especially now that the Quest 3 is out and brings you similar specs and even better Mixed Reality features. The Quest Pro still costs substantially more than the Quest 3, so we'd always recommend going for the 3 first. If you have your heart set on the Quest Pro, buying around Black Friday and Cyber Monday is never a bad plan. In the UK, we've already noticed some discounts to the premium-level headset in the lead up.

We're also rounding up the best Cyber Monday gaming laptop deals and Cyber Monday gaming PC deals if you've already got a headset that requires a tethered connection. Or, check out this year's Cyber Monday laptop deals if you're looking for something with a little less RGB.

Ever since playing Journey at the age of 15, I’ve been desperate to cover video games for a living. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in Journalism, I contributed to the Scottish Games Network and completed an Editorial Internship over at Expert Reviews. Besides that, I’ve been managing my own YouTube channel and Podcast for the last 7 years. It’s been a long road, but all that experience somehow landed me a dream job covering gaming hardware. I’m a self-confessing PlayStation fanboy, but my experience covering the larger business and developer side of the whole industry has given me a strong knowledge of all platforms. When I’m not testing out every peripheral I can get my hands on, I’m probably either playing tennis or dissecting game design for an upcoming video essay. Now, I better stop myself here before I get talking about my favourite games like HUNT: Showdown, Dishonored, and Towerfall Ascension.
