The PAX teaser trailer for Counter-Strike: Global Operations gave brief glimpses of in-game action but now there's something to really sink your eyes into. A fresh batch of CS: GO screens showing off the upgraded and updated look. The models look more human than ever. Terrorists have an assortment of clothes, including blue jeans and ever-present crime headwraps, and the counter-terrorists are armed with head-to-toe tactical gear replete with army-grade knee pads and cool shades. Three of the new shots showcase a remake of the classic de_dust map. The other's take the game far and wide from jungle ruins to the interior of a modern warehouse. See them for yourself below.

If Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment can keep the spirit of the original, we know we'll be logging plenty of hours into CS: GO. The game is expected to release in early 2012 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and it should support cross-platform play, much like Valve’s Team Fortress 2. How do you think it's shaping up so far?
