Whack each one with your wrench, and the boxes to. The boxes provide bolts, which you spend on many different things. Jump up on to the rock and whack Hoppers and boxes. Cross the bridge and kill the Hoppers. I will no longer tell you to get boxes or bolts, as you should accustom to that soon. Jump on the ledges in front of you and kill the Hoppers. You will see two paths; take the right one first, as it will give you more bolts, than go to the left path. You will than encounter a new enemy and I will refer to these as Tesla-with-a-circle-on-end-of-zap Robots Kill them with your wrench, or your Bomb Glove. Keep going, killing and killing, until you find a crash-landing. Watch the cut scene, and crash into a new planet, Planet Novalis. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5b: Planet Novalis +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ From where you crashed, go behind your ship and through the water. Then go in the tunnel. Screw in the screws you find with your wrench. NOTE: If you are attacked by anything, you have to start again. Eventually, you will find a room with a big pool divided in to sections, and you will be in a cavern type room. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) There will be a darker section of rock. Blow it up with your Bomb Glove. Go inside and find a Gold Bot (This rare form of currency is used in conjunction with regular bolts to buy Golden Weapons. You canít yet, though. Iíll tell you when you can.) (End Gold Bolt Info) Explore the waterworks Get out of the cavern, and go in to the place where there are rocks for platforms. Stop and LET THE ROCKS FALL! Then you will see moving yellow platforms that go up and down over and over again. Jump on the first one when itís down low, than the second one when itís at your level, then onto the ledge when youíre at the highest point to continue. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Where there are those stairs, donít climb them. Here is a better idea. Wall jump the walls near the start of the stairs to find another Gold Bolt. (End Gold Bot Info) Now climb the stairs to find your pathway chopped in half! Nothing to worry about, kill the yellow robots that shoot you (they suck at shooting, as they continuously shoot in the one spot for some time, then they move), then jump over the river, if you fall in, you will go back to the beginning. If you made it, go to the room with two, yes TWO streams of water. But if you fall in (ëcause you have to), you have to go to the stairs on either side of each stream. Once your n the other side of the two streams, you will meet a plumber, and a cut scene will take over. Buy Infobot from mechanic Then buy the Infobot for Planet Aridia for 500 bolts (you do HAVE 500 bolts, right? You should), and watch another cut scene. Then go where the plumber went: DOWN THE SEWER PIPE! Donít worry, thereís no disgusting stuff in here. If you have the moolah (moolah means money, which means bolts, you know), go to the Gadgetron Vendor. There is at least one in every level, and buy your self at 2500 bolts, the Pyrocitor! (For details about all the weapons and gadgets in the game, go to the Weapons section or the Gadgets section of this guide. Find a new ship Go down the yellow elevator (everything in this level seems to be yellow) and attack everything you can. If you bought the Pyrocitor, practise using it. (MMMMMM, orange coloured flame.) When you see an old house, there will be a yellow robot shooting. Kill it, and climb the stairs. Go right and a big... watch the cut scene. Go and kill those no good robots and continue over the bridge. Kill the yellow birds (there were some before that I forgot to mention) and whack away with the wrench! Then youíll see a ship come down, but donít get your hopes up; you wonít be taking THAT ship, no way! Kill the robots and a cut scene will be issued. The old man gives you a courier ship, and coordinates to yet another planet. But hey, any one that generous to lend you something that big can be described as kind, giving, and crazy. Well, weíre done here, lets go to Planet Aridia! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5c: Planet Aridia +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Locate Skid McMarx Go behind your ship and itís done. Watch the cut scene, and do what he says. Help Skid get to his ship Kill all the Sandsharks. The Pyrocitor is good here, so get it out if you have it, and buy it if you donít. There are also these yellow things (not another planet filled with yellow!) that spew out Sandsharks as you kill Sandsharks! So get rid of the yellow things first, and I will now call them yellow things re-generators. Also, check the top of that hill in the middle, thereís two regenerators up there. Once youíre done (make sure you check everywhere where the music doesnít change), to receive a Hoverboard! (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) From Skidís location cross the metal bridge, and stay right. Keep walking until you reach another bridge. Cross that bridge and another bridge to see a boulder like the one in Novalis. Blow it to smithereens and collect your Gold Bot (End Gold Bolt Info) Find Skidís Agent From your ship, go left and over the mud. If you try and jump out of the mud three times with out success (three jumps, that is) you will fall in totally. Kill the Sandsharks and the Pyrocitor robots. Kill the robots by Hyper Striking them (remember... [X] then [Square]...) and the Sandsharks with your Pyrocitor. At some point you will see a purple elevator. Go up it. Ignore the green circles in the air and go right just keep killing and smashing and bashing; you get the idea, and stop at the elevator. Go down the elevator and keep doing your job (of killing, smash... you know, the idea) and jump up to the wall with hands on it. Jump again and do the same thing to the next wall. On the last wall, jump up to the hands, move right and jump on to the platform when you can. Then you will find Skidís agent. Let the cut scene tell you what he wants from you, then go back to your ship via the blue cylinder and go to Planet Kerwan! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5d: Planet Kerwan +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Visit Alís Roboshack First, go to the Gadgetron Vendor. If you have yet another 2500 bolts in your pocket, you can get the Blaster. Similar to a real pistol, the Blaster shoots out bullets like a pistol, and has the same range as a pistol. The only difference is real pistols (I mean Grand Theft Auto pistols, not water pistols) shoot out metal bullets, while the Blaster shoots out... well who cares anyway? Go right from the vendor and use your trusty Blaster (or some other weapon; itís as if I care how you defeat enemies, except for the last boss...) to kill the Robo Dogs and the Robots with guns. Then you will see a helicopter; another job for the Blaster. Get into first person mode (remember... I wonít do this any more... [L1]...) and blast the helicopter out of the sky into bolts and lots of ëem. Continue on and down the escalator we go into a circled area. Kill the mine-chucking guy with your wrench or any weapon and there it is. Alís Robo Shack! Go in and talk to Al. Buy Heli-Pack upgrade from Al Buy the Heli-Pack upgrade from him for 1000 bolts (damn guy, you need it to get out of here, but just take the taxi back if you donít have the moolah). Ride the Robot train Now do what the Helpdesk messages tell you down the bottom of the screen (you DID keep them on, didnít you? If you didnët, TURN ëEM ON, DUM-DUM!). In the area with those robots, kill them with something, and move on. Go towards the train-station and kill all the robots. But DONíT, I repeat DONíT board the train yet! GO left of the train and smash the boxes to get about 1500 cold hard bolts! (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Now go back to the elevator and Boost jump the wall to the right of the elevator when you first come up from it now carefully jump on to the boxes and get the Gold Bolt (End Gold Bolt Info) Now board the train. Yes. Nothing more to see but the train ride. Done. Finished. OK? Kill the robots with your Blaster or Bomb Glove on the platform behind the on the robot your trying to kill is on. When you get to the front of the train, the Infobot will escape. (Donít go NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, because youíll get him in les than 60 seconds!) Go to the left for some bolts and one bit of Nanotech, then attack the helicopter and the mine-chucker with the Blaster, then go into the room on the right to get that Infobot. Watch the cut scene and go down the elevator. Explore the rest of the city Go straight past from the vendor (from the elevator) and meet up with Captain Quark. Actually, the cut scene you see will tell you different. Complete fitness course Go up the ledges and wall jump. Watch out for the red boxes (you probably saw some on Planet Aridia too), as they are explosive. If you walk into them, a 3 second countdown will sound from the box, and it will not hurt you unless you are in its range. If you hit it with a weapon it will explode immediately. Keep going and wall jump a much higher wall, then walk on to the green thing on the ground under the wire and jump. You will slide down to an island leading to the second part of the challenge. Cross the islands by double jumping and reach the most annoying bit in any Ratchet & Clank game Iëve ever seen (I have Ratchet & Clank 2 Locked and Loaded as well). The platforms on this island move in and out, so of you are good at timing moves, timing is your biggest advantage on this island. Also, the wall jump walls move in and out to, making it a bit harder to manage. Do the same thing with the wire that you did on the first island and meet... the fattest video game character I probably will ever see! Buy Swingshot from trainer If you have, and you should have 1000 bolts, buy the Swingshot. See that green thing you saw on Planet Aridia? This is the Swingshotís use: To grab green hooks and go to them, and to swing on yellow ones. Press [Circle] if you can see the green Swingshot hook, and go to the second yellow island, then swing to the third. Do what you do with the wire and go to your ship. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) From the grass that your ship is on, glide off it, and go on the opposite direction to see a highway underpass. Go in there to fin a Gold Bolt, some boxes, and have some fun blowing the traffic with your Comet Strike! Now take the taxi to your ship and go back to Planet Aridia! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5e: Planet Aridia (2nd Visit) +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Use your Swingshot OK, go to the place where you saw the Swingshot hooks on your way to Skidís Agent. Start using that Swingshot. When you reach the end, you will find the Trespasser! This device allows you to use Invinco Locks found in many different places. Go to the Gadgets section of this guide to find out what it does, as it will interfere with the walkthrough if I put it here. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) On the platform that you find the Trespasser on, look in first person mode under over the edge. You will see a moving fan type platform. Glide down on to one of the fanís blades and go to the middle of the fan. There is your Gold Bolt (End Gold Bolt Info) Now go to Planet Eudora! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5f: Planet Eudora +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Explore the mills Firstly, if you have 7500 bolts then go to the Gadgetron vendor. Now buy the Glove of Doom. Now, youíre probably asking me íWhy do I have to buy it?í and the answer is ëBuy every weapon in the game to beat the gameí (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Go down on your right from your ship to find 4 Dual-Saw robots. Kill them and turn around. On your left you should see a very small platform, reachable by a Boost Jump. Get up there and get the Bolt. (End Gold Bolt Info) Go to where the screw is and kill everything around you. Now screw in the screw to make the bridge come up, and cross the bridge. There will be a wall jump area. Go up it to find some boxes and a Nanotech box. Now continue on to another screw. The developers must have been in a screw craze when they made this planet. Screw it in and cross the bridge. Smash the crates (first time in a long time Iíve told you to do that), and again screw in the screw, but this time, Boost Jump to the hydraulic platform you just lowered and glide of it when itës back at the top (finally, a change). Now you will see a big robot with an axe. Hyper Strike him then hit him normally with your wrench. There will be another wall jump thing here, and youíll find more crates. Now kill another big robot and see a room with three! This is NOT a job for the Pyrocitor, but any other weapon will do the job just fine. Now you will find the Suck Canon! Now glide back to the platform you saw the Dual-Saw robots on. Find and confront the lieutenant Go back to your ship, and go to the Invinco Lock area. Complete the interface and continue on. Glide over to the ledges that are there and see yet another screw. Do the deal and swing your way to the other side. Now do another screw to bring down platforms that you glide to one by one. Then you will find another Invinco Lock. But this time the game has introduced Invinco Barriers to the puzzle. Solve it and make your way to the lieutenant. Watch the cut scene and collect the Infobot for Nebula G34. Go there right now! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5g: Nebula G34 +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Explore the Blarg warship If you have over 6500 bolts, buy the Taunter form Gadgetron. Itís pretty useless, but it does blow up explosive boxes. OK, go to the two doors closest to the Gadgetron Vendor and take the one on the right. Press [Triangle] to board the warship. Go along and kill the Pyro-Ground Bot, then pick a corridor any corridor: left or right? Take either one, as toads are a cominí! Once you get past the Hoppers, destroy the two Pyro-Ground Bots in the area. Then chuck two or three Glove of Dooms at the Lizard Beasts. Now whatís that big, shiny, red button for? Destroy the warship Press the button. Just press it. Donít leave yourself in suspense. Now RUN FOR IT! Run in the opposite direction and get to the end take the corridor you took before as the frogs wonít come out any more (hey, that rhymes!) Get the hell outta there, then the Infobot for Planet Rilgar will become available for you to get. Get it, but donít blast off yet. Thereís still more to do! Explore the space station Now go to those two doors again, but take a hike down the left side of town (another rhyme... OK, OK, Iëll stop it now. Just got to get some humour to keep going). Smash the yellow globe and go through where the lasers were. Now kill the frogs will your new Suck Cannon: suck five up, kill even more with the frogs as ammo! Hit the two globes and try yourself at the Invinco Lock. You donít have to, but we need more bolts, for something on Planet Rilgar. Itís not a weapon or a gadget, but youíll need 4000 bolts for it! Now get out the Bomb Glove, stand back (at least a bit behind the door you just unlocked), and let the bombs rip! If you get to close, frogs will come out, so not as many bolts. Now take yourself to the Poison Gas Chamber. Jump over the green gas, and make your way to the top of the platforms. Now get out your Swingshot and swing to the next bit. Hit one circle, and a Lizard Beast will break out of its glass cage and attack you. Get out your Pyrocitor and make toast! Smash the other globe and do what you did just then, just like deja vu. Now youíll see a long corridor, and itís filled with frogs! Get out your Pyrocitor and start the toasting again. Once youíve completed the corridor, a ledge with a Pyro-Ground Guard on it will be presented. Jump up and kill the Pyro-Ground Guard with your wrench; youíll need ammo for the next bit, but thereís a Gadgetron Vendor there, so never mind. Now here come some frogs and two Lizard Beasts. Burn all of them to bolts and continue with your progress. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) In the room with the frogs and the two Lizard Beasts, kill them all and look on your right. Boost-Jump yourself up to the ledge to find a way into somewhere. Kill all the frogs and get the Gold Bolt, then go back the way you came. (End Gold Bolt Info) You will then see a circular room with some frogs, Lizard Beasts and a Pyro-Ground Guard. Kill them all with your Blaster. And donít forget to clear the lasers by shooting the Frequency Jammers. Now for your first boss fight. BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT ALIEN QUEEN BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT 1st form: Alien Queen 2nd form: Alien Queen and Frogs 3rd form: Alien Queen and 2 Lizard Beasts 1st Form: Shoot the Alien Queen with your Blaster until she moves on to the 2nd form. 2nd Form: Get out your Pyrocitor and burn all the frogs. Then get out your Blaster and blast her full of yellow bullets. 3rd Form Shoot out twelve Gadgetron Doomies (three shots of the Glove of Doom) and finish the two Lizard Beasts and the Alien Queen off. Once youíve defeated the Lizard Queen, kill the frogs in the next room and watch the cut scene. Now buy the Grindboots form the Gadget Engineer and grinding the rail in front of you. Journey outside the airlock Once you land on firm ground, get out your Trespasser and complete the puzzle. Now send Clank outside the airlock. Controlling Clank isnít any different from controlling Ratchet, but Clank canít use weapons, although he can punch. Step on the button and leave the room. Walk carefully along the green, narrow path, as you will encounter many of these as you go along. Punch the Hopper and jump on to the box on the left. Smash up all the boxes and smash the box that you jumped on as well. Now glide down on to the blue boxes straight ahead, or right of the green path you took earlier. Kill the Hoppers and go to the right. Climb the platforms to witness to being of a very long green, narrow path. Walk VERY slowly to reach the end and find some Gadge-Bots. Gadge-Bots are little robots that accompany Clank on certain missions where you use Clank. You can command Gadge-Bots to wait, follow you, attack enemies and Enter Bot-Ports or Bot-Devices. Once youíve smashed all four free, make them attack the Lizard Beast in front of you and some Hoppers behind it. CAUTION: If the Gadge-Bots get killed, they will respawn at the location you found them in when you broke them free. Now command them to enter the Bot-Device and get the Hydrodisplacer. This gadget is used for filling and draining pools using Insta-Faucets for draining and Insta-Drains for filling. Now return to Ratchet using the bridge provided and go to Planet Rilgar. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5h: Planet Rilgar +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Before you do ANYTHING, but only if you have 11,500 bolts, BUY THE MINE GLOVE! Although I never used it in game-play, itís AWESOME! In conjunction with he Taunter, the mineís range increases and that means more bolts, which means more weapons, which means an easier, less stressful game. Locate Captain Quark Stretch-Jump to the platform near the Versa-Targets and swing to the elevator. Step on the button and go down. Get out your Hydrodisplacer and empty the pool. Walk to the higher bit and Boost-Jump twice to see an Insta-Drain. Fill it and go to the corridor. Smash the big blockers and drain the next pool. Smash the blocker then go back to the Insta-Drain and fill the pool. Swim underwater through the corridor the blocker was in and rise to the top. Now go down the green slide. Step on the button and run! This can be very hard if you donít follow the proper instructions. 1: DONíT attack enemies 2: ALWAYS Stretch-Jump when you can. 3: NEVER dive too deep down underwater. When you finish that, go to the trailer to find... a bodyguard? Bribe the bodyguard Well, donít blame me if you donít have 4000 bolts to bribe him. If you do, pay up! Make sure to step on the orange button near a glass door after bribing the bodyguard and acquiring the coordinates to Planet Umbris. Win the hoverboard races Go right from the Gadgetron Vendor and Boost-Jump to the ledge. Step on the button and kill the Flame Guard and the Goo-Shooting Tank. Get the boxes and Stretch-Jump to the ledge. Blow up the box and Stretch-Jump to the next ledge. Step on the button and compete five flames to one; in other words burn the Flame Guards. Now you will see some Sludge Monsters, but these ones are bigger than the ones you saw while in the rising water area, and if you attack one as big as this one, it will divide into two, then if you attack it again it will divide again. But on the third hit, it will die. Move on and get out your Blaster. Try and kill the Flame Guards on the other side of a bridge that will appear when you step on the button, but at least try to kill the enemies first, then step on the button. Go in the elevator and step on the button to make it go up. You will find a Sludge Monster and two rooms with Flame Guards in them. Kill the Sludge Monster and step on the button. Get out your Pyrocitor and start the toaster. Once your finished, get the boxes, get on the taxi and head downtown. Here you will find lots of Flame Guards and Sludge Monsters. Waste all of them and go to the weird looking guy. Watch the cut scene and admit that you donít have 150000 bolts to buy the R.Y.N.O, but the R.Y.N.O is a VERY VERY VERY cool weapon! So start saving now! Now blast the Goo-Shooting Tank and get out the olí Pyrocitor. Step on the button (this time the developers must have been in a button craze, and theirs about 20 coming right up) and toast the Flame Guards. Step on the button to make the elevator go up, and go through the corridor to find a large cave. Get all the boxes on the outside, than kill all the Sludge Monsters in the middle. Now again step on a button to find tonnes of Flame Guards trying to kill you. Yet again toast them with the Pyrocitor and go to the elevator. Step on the button to make the elevator go up and find a maze (this is what I meant when I said thereís 20 more buttons coming up). Step on the first two and kill the Flame Guards. Step on the next two and kill the Sludge Monsters. Go ahead and step on the next three buttons. On the next one, kill the Flame Guard. Step on another two buttons and nothing will happen, but now go around to the very left and step on the button there. Now kill the Sludge Monsters. Step on the remaining buttons and head for the potholes. After you select your Blaster, jump on the pothole near the tank and shoot it (it should take 12 shots) and jump on the ledge where the tank was. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Go on the pothole you just went on but DONíT jump to the ledge. Instead, jump on the slim walls behind it. Walk very carefully to the other side, then go right and do the same thing. Once you see the Gold Bolt, jump down to the room itís in and grab it. Now step on the button and leave. (End Gold Bolt info) Now kill the next tank and go to the elevator. Step on the last button to go up and go to the lady in the middle of the field. Watch the cut scene and enter the hoverboard race! The objective of the race is quite obviously to come first, so when you win it, youíll win a Platinum Zoomerator. Now go back to Planet Aridia and show the agent your accomplishments. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5i: Planet Aridia (3rd Visit) +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Bring prize to agent This is the third time weíve been to Outpost X11, so lets just deal with the matter of proof that you won the hoverboard race. Take the cylinder subway and go to the agent. Heíll then give you the Sonic Summoner. Although this is another gadget I absolutely never ever used, it brings up Sand Mouse Houses when you see one underground (those little things on the ground with antennae). If the Sand Mouse likes you, it will shoot enemies without any trouble at all. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Go back to the end of the factory. Stretch-Jump off the grass to a small platform on the edge of the factory. Now Stretch-Jump again to the big island in the middle, look around for a green truck, go to the truck, collect the Gold Bolt, and find someway to get off. (End Gold Bolt info) Now go to Planet Umbris. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5j: Planet Umbris +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Survive Quarkís gauntlet This planet was designed to look like a World War 2 field, so it looks weird to the average teenager, but ask a World War two soldier and heíll be quite happy two tell you tale after tale about how the war came together. Now swing to the ground below and glide to it after letting go of [Circle]. Get out your Blaster and kill the bomb-toting machine. Go across the bridge and kill the bomb-toting machines and the mines with your Blaster also. Watch out for the permanent gun as it will not die, whatever you do (unless you come back after getting the Morph-o-ray). Now kill all the mines and the bomb-toting machines. Go up the stairs and kill the mines. Now kill the circling mines and step on the three Tripads (the green things on the ground) to open the door. Kill all the bomb-toting machines and step on the next three Tripads to open another door. Now the bridges ahead are jinxed. If you step on a grey platform and stay there, it will fall off and take you with it, but the black platforms are fine. Now youíll see some missiles, and they are coming from a permanent gun. Go through the platform and get out your Swingshot. Swing to the black platform. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) When you get to the black platform, look to the right. Youíll see a Tripad. Glide to the platform with the Tripad and step on it. Run and find another one to step on. The last one is on a separate platform. When youíve stepped on all three, a door will open. Go back to the black platform and in to the room with a Gold Bolt and lots of boxes. (End Gold Bolt info) Now youíll have to find three more Tripads in a very big space with permanent guns. Find all three and step on all three to open up the next door. Go up the stairs to find LOTS of circling mines. Waste them all, somehow and step on the three Tripads. Climb the ladder and drain the pool. Kill the Murder Fish and go through the tunnel that is in the pool. Kill the rest and go up the stairs. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Up the top of the stairs you just climbed, look down to see a room. Jump in the room to get the Gold Bolt, step on the three Tripads and do up to the stairs again. (End Gold Bolt info) Then glide to the next Insta-Faucet. Drain the pool and kill everything. Now go back up the ladder and fill the pool back up and dive in. Go to the left and rise again. Drain the pool then swing to your next destination. Here you will see a big circular area with an Insta-Drain. Kill all the enemies first, then fill up the pool. Now go to the small platform in the middle and do the Tripad deal and go back to the Insta-Faucet. Empty the pool again and jump up to the ledge at the end of the pool. Walk through the stone corridor to meet Captain Quark. Watch the two cut scenes and get ready for another boss fight. BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT SNAGGLEBEAST BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT Destroy the Snagglebeast First, pump the Snagglebeast full of yellow stuff with the Blaster while dodging attacks: His vibration attack (the big yellow rings) should be dodged by double jumping, his flame attack should be dodged by moving and his ammo taking attack the same as the last one. Do this until he has a yellow sphere around him, and then lead him to one of the bridges. Heíll fall in to the lava. Just do this twice more and youíve defeated him. Find a new ship Once you have defeated the Snagglebeast, go to the garage that just opened. Youíll find a ship and an Infobot there. Now go to Planet Batalia! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5k: Planet Batalia +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Talk to the Commando When you land, a cut scene will issue. Itís that easy. Firstly, but only if you have 10000 bolts, go to the Gadgetron Vendor and buy the Devastator. Itís a very useful weapon and I used it a lot in game play. Secondly, kill everything and go to the Invinco Lock. Complete it (I know it off by heart: Right (x4), down, right (x2), down, right (x2) OK?), and get about 2000-2500 bolts. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Wall jump where the Invinco Lock is and get it. (End Gold Bolt info) Ride the grind rail Now go up to the rail, right from your ship. Now grind it. Jump or shoot the mines that you find on the rail. Buy Deserterís Infobot When you get to the end, and if you have 2000 bolts, buy the Infobot for Planet Gaspar. Meet the Commando at city Go straight from your ship and watch the explosion. Kill the BAR (Blarg Army Robots) and move on. Cross the bridge and go down where this ledge stops. Kill all the GAR (Grass Army Robots) and screw the bolt is. Now go back up and hit the tank four times with your Devastator. That will hold his fire. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Go across the new bridge. Go up the stairs and Stretch-Jump to a ledge where there are four boxes. Keep going and find a Gold Bolt. (End Gold Bolt info) Cross the new bridge and go down the waterfall. Kill every thing and screw in the two screws to make a long bridge. Go up and across to the Commando and watch the cut scene. Now head for Planet Gaspar! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5l: Planet Gaspar +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ If you have 7500 bolts, go to the Gadgetron Vendor and buy the Walloper. Itís very useful on this planet, due to Clinger Bots, which are killed instantly with the Walloper. Find the Pilotís Helmet (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Go right once youíre in control and glide down to the platform way down below. Get out your Swingshot, jump on the small platform in front of you and swing to the other side. Go ahead and kill the Robot Pups. Now destroy the pump in front of you and swing to the next platforms. Kill the Robot Pups and swing to the next platform. Go up the stairs and kill the Robot Pups and the two pumps. Swing to the next bit and kill all the Robot Pups. Go down the elevator and hit the pump. Swing to the next bit and jump over the platforms. Hit all four pumps and jump over the platforms to your Gold Bolt. (End Gold Bolt info) Get in the turret and blast everything, including the black circle. Go through the circle you just blew up and punch the Clinger Bombs with your newly acquired Walloper. Now go straight ahead to the platforms ahead. Remember to punch all the Clinger Bombs on your way to the second turret. Get in the turret, blow the circular wall to hell and go through the hole and up the elevator. In the round room ahead there are lots of Robot Pups. Punch them all too. There are some Clinger Bombs as well, so punch everything in this level, except for the BAR. He next room is full of Tanks, although their not shooting, there are lots of BAR behind the Tanks, so now get out your Devastator and kill them if they hop from their hiding position and fire at you. In the next room there are about ten BAR, so destroy the army and get in the turret. Blast the circle and move on. Now youíll be where the ship crashed in the Infobot for this planet. Now get the Pilotís Helmet. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Look to the northeast from where you found the Pilotís Helmet on to see some ground. Glide down there and waste everything with your Devastator and Walloper as you go along and reach the Gold Bolt. (End Gold Bolt info) Now head for Planet Orxon. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5m: Planet Orxon +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Search the laboratories. Now youíre probably asking why Ratchetís not here, but when you land you see Ratchet in the ship holding his breath while the doorís open, and it also says O2 mask required for organic life forms, and Ratchet is an organic life form, so you have to be Clank. Go into the corridor and look for a Red Crab. DONíT ATTACK IT!!! IT WILL KILL YOU!!! Now go on through the corridor and kill the Hoppers while you go along. Break free all the Gadge-Bots you can find, make them enter the Bot-Port where you came from (Enter) and make them go in the Bot-Device. Kill the Hopper and jump up the ledges. Youíll find another Crab, but you donít need to kill it with Gadge-Bots. Go through the corridor and kill ALL the Hoppers before you unleash any Gadge-Bots. Find them all once you kill the three Hoppers and make them enter the Bot -Device. Free the three Gadge-Bots and make them Wait on the button. Go through, free the rest of the Gadge-Bots and make them all follow. Kill the Hopper and make them enter the Bot-Port, wait and go up the elevator Go down and step on the explosive boxes. Free the Gadge-Bot and step on the button. Make the Gadge-Bots follow and enter the Bot-Port and the Bot-Device to find the laboratory. Go through the laboratory to find the Magneboots and watch the short cut scene. This is what you need to walk the ventilation shaft to reach the city in Planet Batalia, but weíll do that later. Traverse the wilderness Walk along the bridge to find... a bomb field? You have to find all the Gadge-Bots, guide them through a bomb field and a hazardous maze, across a bridge and into a Bot-Device! Man oh man! Free every Gadge-Bot you can find (in total there should be six) and carefully guide them through the bomb field into the maze. This maze has a yellow zapper running through it, and if it hits one of your Gadge-Bots, theyíll respawn at the place you freed them, so be careful! Remember, they canít climb, so use the ramps to get through. Now cross the bridge and make the Gadge-Bots enter the Bot-Device. Now enter the enemy field. Free all the Gadge-Bots you can and ATTACK! Keep freeing and attacking until you have ten Gadge-Bots and make them enter the Bot-Device. Watch the cut scene and go in. You wonít get shot, so come on, keep going. Get the Infobot for Planet Pokitaru and head to your ship. Watch the cut scene and head to Planet Pokitaru. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5n: Planet Pokitaru +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Firstly, if you have 22500 bolts, buy the Decoy Glove and the Visibomb Gun from he Gadgetron Vendor. The Decoy Glove was another weapon of rare use for me, but the Visibomb gun was quite the opposite. Go to the resort owner and watch the cut scene. Help the resort owner Go down the stairs and get out your Suck Cannon. Suck up all the Spiky Fish you can and hold them and destroy the Purple Fire Breather with your Blaster. Hop on the boat and get out your Suck Cannon. Keep sucking until youíve ran out of space then fire whenever you need to, then when you run out of space, start sucking again. When you reach the end of your trip, keep going. Keep killing all the enemies with your Suck Cannon or your Devastator until you get on the boat. This trip will be longer than the last one, so watch out. Get out your Suck Cannon and suck and fire and suck and fire until you reach land. Shoot the Blow Fish with the Devastator and watch the bridge unfold. Go across and suck and fire out all the Blow Fish. Now step on the button and watch the next bridge unfold. Go across and suck up all the Blow Fish you can, and fire if you have to. Kill all the Blow Fish and watch the cut scene. Buy Thrusterpack from Bob Do what the resort owner said and buy the Thrusterpack from Bob for 2000 bolts after the cut scene. Destroy the Blarg ships Now, do a Power Slam with your new Thrusterpack: Jump, then press [R1]. The garage will open to the jet fighter. To use it, you must have the Pilotís Helmet, but we found that already. Get in the jet fighter and look at the controls. You have to destroy all the Blarg ships that are dumping their toxic wast into their ocean. They look like enormous caterpillars. The little ships will shoot you from time to time, and if you destroy one, youíll get some ammo or some life. Once their gone, youíll have the O2 mask! Now watch the cut scene and go back to Planet Orxon. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5o: Planet Orxon (2nd Visit) +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Explore as Ratchet Glide on the platform provided and glide down to the platform below. Keep hitting the frequency jammers and clearing the lasers until you find another Gadgetron Vendor. Go left, as this will provide more life. Get out your Devastator and walk slowly up to the end. A Blarg Fighter will appear, so kill it with your Devastator, before it starts shooting without a thought about stopping unless you leave. Move on and Boost-Jump to the ledge on the right. Go left, kill the Pyro-Ground Guard and hit the frequency jammer. Keep going and kill the Pyro-Ground Guard and the Annoying Birds. Again get out your Devastator as another Blarg Fighter is coming up. Jump on the platforms, and when it comes out, blast it to hell. Keep going across the platforms and jump on to the firm land. Hit the two frequency jammers and RUN LIKE THE WIND! Kill the Mutant Crabs and move on. Go across the platforms (with your Devastator) and destroy and Pyro-Ground Guards you see with your wrench. Move on and go up the black elevator to find a Premium Nanotech dispenser. Buy the Premium Nanotech Watch the cut scene and buy the Premium Nanotech for 4000 bolts and watch the cut scene. Now youíll have five spheres of Nanotech. Explore as Ratchet (continued) Go back to the second Gadgetron Vendor, and go right this time. Ignore all the Crabs and equip your Heli-Pack. Boost-Jump to the ledge and walk up he Magne-Strip. Watch out for the fire bursts and the Annoying Birds (take them out with your wrench, as you canít use weapons while using Magneboots) as you go along. When you reach firm ground, get out your swing shot and swing to the other side of the laser and on the yellow hooks as well. Kill the Annoying Birds and jump to the next platform. Run through as if thereís no tomorrow here, as if an Annoying Bird screeches itís cries, youíre in for it. On the next platform, hit all the frequency jammers you find, although youíll wake some Mutant Crabs, so use your Visibomb Gun for this part. Kill all the enemies in this area and watch out for the Blarg Fighter. Take it down with your Devastator and move on to the metallic room. Walk up the room and get the runaway Infobot. Watch it and head back to Planet Batalia. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5p: Planet Batalia (2nd Visit) +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Explore the walled city OK, go on the taxi to take you to the ventilation shaft and go along to the city. Kill everything and screw in the screw up the top (the screw the Commando was talking about). Take out the tanks if you didnít see them and screw in the other screw. Go and talk to the waterworker. Get in the turret and start shooting! Destroy the bombers This can be tough if you donít know anything about shooting long distance, but anyway. Shoot the bombers long enough to give some damage, but pay attention to the radar constantly. This will inform you of incoming rockets. To stop the rockets, shoot them. The red dots are the bombers, white dot are rocket that were just shot and flashing red dots are rockets that are heading for you. Once youíre done, watch the cut scene for the Metal Detector and go to Planet Hoven. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5q: Planet Hoven +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Buy Hydro-Pack from Ed Watch the cut scene and move on. Get out your Walloper and punch the Anklebiters. These little pups pack one heck of a bite, so be careful. Move on and some SAR (Snow Army Robots) will appear. I seem to have initials for everything, donít I? Blast them all to hell with your Blaster or wrench. Now jump on the elevator o go up. Go through the tunnel and kill the SAR with your Bomb Glove and go to the end of the tunnel. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Go back to the place where there are lots of trees and go behind the trees. Kill all of the Anklebiters here to receive a Skill Point (havenít heard of those before, hmmm?). Once youíve gotten the Skill Point for killing all the Anklebiters, wall jump where the tilted elevator is. NOTE: This takes VERY good timing and requires patience. (End Gold Bolt info) If you just got the Gold Bolt, go back to the end of the tunnel. Jump of the edge into the tunnel into the water and keep going until you find a large room. This is a water puzzle, and itís simple. Go in and drain the water with your Hydrodisplacer. Now fill it up at the Insta-Drain on the other side. Now jump on to the small rocky platform right of the entrance and jump to the room ahead. Drain the water again and leave the room. Find the small platform that looks like the elevator you took up to the tunnel and fill the pool again. Jump back on the elevator and drain the tank. Fill it up at the platform on the other side. (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) Dive down to the first room you went in to get water and surface. Get out of the water to acquire the Gold Bolt (End Gold Bolt info) Jump on to the big platform in the middle and Stretch-Jump to the other side. Go through the tunnel to findÖ a bomb factory! This is the planets main business. Go down the ramp and kill all the Anklebiters. Blow all the boxes and collect the bolts. Now youíll notice there are rooms to your left and right. Youíll have to go across the bridges with the explosive boxes on them, but that only equals more bolts, so I encourage you to do so. Once youíve been in all the rooms, go to the shop at the very end and buy the Hydro-Pack for 2000 bolts. Itís very useful for going underwater, and also letís you swim against waters directional flow, or currents for short. Explore the Icy Wastes Now this partís tricky, as itís all ice. Slippery, slide making, cold bearing ice, so watch your step. Go back to the landing site and go left of your ship and across the bridge. Kill the SAR that come and continue. Jump on the first two Tripads then get out your Swingshot and swing to the higher platform to get the third one. Go into the room you just unlocked and wall jump while hitting the Tripads. Go through the room and Swingshot your way to the next platform. Time your swing on the next bit, because those lasers are deadly! Jump VERY carefully to the next platform and immediately after you land press [Circle] to swing to the next bit. Time this swing as well, as those lasers are just as harmful the last. Jump on the two circular platforms and carefully kill the Anklebiters without sliding too much, or youíll either hit an explosive box and not have enough time to get away or youíll fall off. Now hit the Tripad. Glide over to the next two and watch the cut scene. Now you have Raritanium! Destroy the Planetbuster Go back to where you saw a platform to your left and take the hover-vator to the other side. Get out your Walloper and destroy the homing mines that pop out of the hole. Now get out your Devastator, and kill the helicopter. Go up the hover-vator and kill the group of SAR with your Bomb Glove. Kill the helicopter with your Devastator and wall jump the wall. Go in the tunnel and hit the explosive box. Go all the way through the tunnel and wallop the homing mines with your Walloper. Wall jump and go through the tunnel, while killing the three Anklebiters that come at you in there. At the end of the tunnel, you can see he Planetbuster. Jump across the three elevators and go straight after you kill the SAR. Go into the room on the left and put lots of mines down, hen make them chase you to the mines and they will explode. Get your Devastator, watch the cut scene and blast the helicopter. Now get to the turret. This is very hard for some as the key word is DEFENSE! Destroy any helicopters while totally destroying the Planetbuster. Now head off to Planet Pokitaru after acquiring the Infobot for Oltanis Orbit. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5r: Planet Pokitaru (2nd Visit) +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Check out the resort OK, take the teleport to the sewers and dive in. Youíll see no oxygen level (this isnít a bad thing), and thatís all thanks to the O2 mask you got on this planet earlier. Go right and rise at the end. Waste the Slime Monster and go back to the big circle. Complete the Invinco-Lock and fill the pool up again. From the circle, go through the Invinco-Locked door and rise. Get lout your Pyrocitor and burn all the enemies to hell. Now go up the platforms around the circle. Remember that the yellow platforms bend according to where you stand on them; so keep that in mind. At the top will be another Invinco-Locked door. Complete the puzzle and continue. Dive in and swim to the other side of the tunnel to find more Slime Monsters and yet another Invinco-Locked door; however, itís the last one. Complete it and go through to find ...the gadget engineer from Nebula G34? Anyway, watch the cut scene and trade him your Raritanium for his Persuader. This is NOT a bad deal; so donít take it into consideration, TRADE TRADE TRADE!!! Now you can get discounts from Gadgetron Vendors! Nothing more to do here so go to Oltanis Orbit +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5s: Oltanis Orbit +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Explore base Now, glide down to other side of the bridge for the bridge to assemble itself. Kill all the Ground Birds and go up the stairs. Do what Helpdesk says, or if you turned it off, shoot the big, tall power generator on your right. Itís not that hard to spot. Go through where the electricity use to be and kill the Pyro Ground Guard and all the Ground Birds. Shoot the power generator and move on. Go to your right, IMMEDIATELY! If you donít, a turret guy will shoot you with no mercy! Hit him in the ass with your wrench and keep going. Complete the Invinco-Lock and go right once again do dodge the turret guy. Go up the stairs and kill all the Ground Birds, and the turret guy as well. Complete the next Invinco-Lock and move on. Try your best to dodge the next turretís fire, kill him and go left. Kill the two Pyro Ground Guards here with your Comet Strike and go right. Kill the Ground Birds and hit those gas cylinders with EXTREME CAUTION! Hit the next power generator and blast that ship out of the sky; this is an enemy you will encounter a lot in this level. Hit both of the fighters in the sky with your Visibomb gun to ensure that they donít kill you, kill everything else in this part and go through the newly opened door. Go down the elevator and shoot the Ground Birds with your Blaster. Once theyíre out of the way, jump across and go to your right. Jump over the platforms and make sure you jump to the highest level of platform when the acid is at its highest point. Jump over to firm land and swing over to the other side of the acid AT THE RIGHT TIME! Kill the three Pyro Ground Guards and go across the Magne-Strip. Make sure you walk and stop at the right times, as that orange stuff is DEADLY, and I mean DEADLY! Once you get to the end, glide down to the gas cylinders down the bottom, when the acid is down low, then Boost-Jump to the top. Exit the room and take out the fighter on the other side of the beams of electricity with your Visibomb Gun, and then the power generator. Go through, complete the Invinco-Lock and kill the turret guys. Now go past where the turret guys were and kill every enemy in sight. Move on and destroy the fighters NOW. NOW!!!!!!! When youíve done that, jump up and go to the area with bars almost totally surrounding it, and watch out for the turret guys! Three of them, unkillable, so youíll just have to Dodge Leap your way out of that one. Now go on the elevator, and notice the clinking and clanking of your Magneboots? Youíll be flipped upside-down and put in to the room I call Galactic War 1. Kill EVERYTHING in this room, including the reproducing machines to unlock the door to get out of there. Go up the elevator and up the stairs and meet... Captain Quark! Watch the cut scene and get ready to kill! BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT CAPTAIN QUARK BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT Shoot down Captain Quark Now this can be hard, but itís probably not. Get in your ultra black new ship and heat to Planet Oltanis! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5t: Planet Oltanis +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Buy the Tesla Claw from the vendor, and the Drone Device if you want with the discounted, yes discounted prices! Watch the cut scene and take the elevator down to what I call Home Circle. Go left and up the Magnestrip on to the elevator. When you stop, notice the wind, the ice and the Magnestrips. These items are what make up this part of the level. Stay to your left to get blown on to the Magnestrip. Walk until you find a bomb circling the strip. Whack it with your Comet Strike and move on. Once you get to the end, go right. The key to this bit timing your jumps over the electricity and the holes in between the platforms of ice so be careful. At the end take a sharp left on to the Magnestrip and go straight, to another bit with ice and holes. At the end of this electricity plot, jump up and get on the Magnestrip. Walk along, killing all the bombs you see with your Comet Strike. At the end of the path, kill the helicopter and the Tesla Robot with your Devastator. (Want two Gold Bolts? Read on!) 1. On the very right, there is a platform down below with a Gold Bolt on it. 2. On the wall you slide along on the left, go to the very right and pick up your second Gold Bolt. (End Gold Bolt info) Go to the 3rd set of electricity beams and jump over them to meet Capt... Steve. Purchase Gadgetron PDA from ëSteveí Watch the cut scene and get the Gadgetron PDA for 1000 bolts. Go back on the Magnestrip to Home Circle. Find survivors of Blarg attack Go left form the Magnestrip and kill the two Zap Robots. Move on to find a group of Tesla Robots. You saw one on the way to Steve, but this is a group of them. Youíll encounter many groups in this part of the level. Kill them all with your trusty Tesla Claw. Move on, and kill the helicopter you see with your Visibomb Gun. Kill all the Tesla Robots with your Tesla Claw or Devastator, and refill WHENEVER you want with your new Gadgetron PDA. Move on again and kill the Zap Bots with your Blaster, the helicopter with your Visibomb Gun and the Tesla Robots with your choice of weaponry. Grind the Grind Rail and leave the Tesla Robots alone. Itís too hard to destroy them all unless you have Ultra Nanotech. Destroy the helicopter with your Visibomb Gun, Swingshot up to that little room to get a Gold Bolt, get back down and kill the single Tesla Robot with your Devastator. Go up and left, also destroying the three Zap Robots. Now go right and avoid the turrets fire, go up to it and hit it for being a naughty turret. Kill the three Zap Robots and get on the grind rail. Watch the cut scene and keep going. Try and not be on a rail with any type of electricity on it, whether it be from the Tesla Robots or on the track. Buy Infobot from scrap merchant At the end, buy the Infobot for Planet Quartu for 2000 bolts, jump on the button and go down the ladder. Search the destroyed city Take the taxi upper city. WATCH OUT FOR THE HELI GUARDS! If you are under their light, turrets will go nuts, so PLEASE, PLEASE be careful! Get past the turret (destroy it) and the chopper, and then kill ALL the Zap Robots and Reproducing Machines. Now swing up and kill all the turrets and climb up the ladder. VERY CAREFULLY, creep past the heli guards and turrets. Jump across the platforms and kill the turret. Get on the Swingshot Mobile and swing to the room on the right of the area where all the heli guards were. Again sneak past the choppers and get on the Swingshot Mobile. Go from mobile to mobile and eventually kill everything on the island. Climb the ladder to find... the Morph-o-ray! This weapon turns enemies in to chickens! (Want a Gold Bolt? Read on!) When all objectives are completed on this planet, a cut scene will issue, and I call this cut scene ëTotally American Taping (I am NOT trying to offend the United States, I am trying to compliment them, especially all American camera crews). Swingshot all the way to the end to find a Gold Bolt. (End Gold Bolt info) Now go to Planet Quartu. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5u: Planet Quartu +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Find out more about the Ultra-Mech Go straight and kill everything. Now go left and Swingshot to the other side. AS you go along, eliminate any threat that you see. When you reach the end (which didnít take too long) talk to the scientist. Destroy the Ultra-Mechs Now youíll become Giant Clank. Any little enemies, like Tesla Robots, can be stepped on (yeah, thatíll show ëem whoís boss). When you get to a point where the wall is lowered, step into ëThe Arena of Clankí. Here you must battle helicopters, and the Ultra-Mechs. Use your attack, missiles or punch on any you like, as there isnít much of a need for a ëuse this weapon on that enemyí explanation. When you finish, youíll get the Infobot for Planet Kalebo III. Explore the coolant system From your ship go left and up the ladder. Dive down and go through the three Tripad Rings to open the door, and go through the door. Now dodge the lasers and rise to the top. Step on the button and GO UNDERWATER! DONíT EVER let go of R1 or you wonít make it. Dodge any lasers you see and go through any Tripad Rings you have to. Once you reach the end youíll receive the Bolt Grabber! Now your bolt collecting range is increased a lot, so this is a huge improvement. Now go to Planet Kalebo III. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5v: Planet Kalebo III +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ OK, go down the escalator and down the next escalator to find some very pro looking troops. If you kill them, it makes you look more professional and them look more stupid, so kill them. Go left, kill all the Clinger Bombs and hit the button. Now rush inside, and note that I will refer to this area as the second Gadgetron Vendor area II (#I is on Planet Orxon, remember?). Go left and up the elevator. Ride the Grind Rail Get on the grind rail. As you go along, you will encounter bombs, trains and gaps. David ëZoopí McCutcheon has let me use his Gold Bolt information so hereís his track and Gold Bolt info. ìOn the first chance you get, hop left, and then back to the right after the train car comes by. Jump to the right or left, then back to the center to dodge the train cars. Jump to the left, then all the way to the right. [Gold Bolt info] Hit the small button with the wrench on the right [End Gold Bolt Info] then jump to the center. [Gold Bolt Info] Jump over to the right Grind Rail. Jump over two objects and start swinging to hit the second small button. After jumping more objects, you will notice that your rail is swaying. Start swinging! You will hit the third. Jump back on track. [End Gold Bolt Info] You will need to jump once the grind rail turns white and blue. You will land safely, but train cars are a-comin'! Jump left or right, then to center. Three train cars will come at you at once. Wait for the one on the right to go passed, and then jump to there. Afterwards, jump all the way left and jump over the bomb. Dodge the rest of the cars like I explained earlier when the three of them come at you at once. [Gold Bolt Info] If you hit all three small buttons, hop to the right and eventually get your Gold Bolt. Then jump back on track. [End Gold Bolt Info. Finally.] You'll eventually see another blue and white track, so jump! Dodge the train car in the middle and see the cut-scene. You'll have the Map-O-Matic! Very handy, indeed. (Want a Gold Bolt still knowing that itís still Davidís info? Read on!) After the grinding area, go to the platform that the Grind Rail stands on. Look over the ledge to find a platform. Jump down and go into the pod. You will be in an odd room with lots of chickens. Grab the Gold Bolt.î Get past the Blarg Take the taxi back to your ship and go back to the second Gadgetron Vendor, but go right this time. Kill the guards and dogs you see and go left. The doors will lock and you will fight. Test robots will appear out of the walls, so kill them. I recommend the Pyrocitor but any weapon with cheap ammunition will do the trick as well. Once youíre done, go up the elevator and kill the Guards with your Devastator. Hit the button with your Blaster and fly down there as fast as you can! Smash the Clinger Bombs with your Walloper and move on. Go into the next room, and itís just like the room with lots of test dummies in it that you did before, but their weaponry is upgraded. Waste them all with your Pyrocitor again and get out. Kill the dogs and Guards, and then go left. Once you see another Gadgetron Vendor, jump up and shoot the button; hit it with your Devastator, but right after you press circle, pause it and get out your Swingshot and then swing to the next bit. Grind the rail, kill all the enemies and enter the next room... of dummies. Kill all of them-Pyrocitor (You) to Pyrocitors (them). Kill the Guards first, and then the dogs. Keep moving and kill the Clinger Bombs and the newly dropped off Guards and station (kill the Guards with your Devastator and the station with your Visibomb Gun). Now head in to an outdoor arena: Gadgetron dummies vs. Ratchet & Clank. This is a combined fight, so all the weapons they used in different rooms are all used at the same time. Kill all of them using the Bomb Glove, Glove of Doom or Pyrocitor. Go into the corridor and go left. Smash all those boxes and go to the old guy. Win the Hoverboard race Watch the cut scene and enter the hoverboard race. Now you can use Devastator missiles if you pick them up (they look like a missile) so try to use them at your advantage. Find new equipment Once you win, youíll get the Hologuise. Now go back to Planet Quartu to infiltrate the secure area. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 5w: Planet Quartu +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Infiltrate the secure area First, put on your Hologuise and go to the door. It will open for you. Wave at the Security Bot whoíll turn off the protective yellow screen preventing predators (you not in the Hologuise. If they ever discovered it was you and lived to tell... (I clear my throat) youíd have hell to pay!) to get in. (Donít be alarmed as the continuing parts of this level are under construction!) +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 6: Gold Bolt and Skill Point Information +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Yet again the famous (to me) David ëZoopí McCutcheon has let me use his stuff, and this time itís his Gold Bolt and Skill Point information. Now I MUST advise, if you see your name/nickname/e-mail address in this guide and do not want it in here, just e-mail me. You have every right to get your e-mail taken off here, as some f***en b***hes spend their time making viruses and ruining computers, putting them in the dump! So enjoy! Keep in mind that these locations are also noted as you go along in the FAQ. For those whom have completed the game and need the Gold Bolts, however, can look here. To find the Golden Showrooms, follow the first two partís directions: +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 6: Gold Bolt Locations +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ GOLDEN SHOWROOM #1After you beat Qwark, you can redeem some of the Gold Bolts. Teleport from your ship via the pod provided, and you will notice a VERY tall building that you can enter the center of. Go there and wall jump to an Elevator. Take this up and you will reach the "Golden Showroom #1". Here, you can buy five of the ten Golden Weapons. GOLDEN SHOWROOM #2The second showroom is located after you beat the game and you choose to start a new game with your current weapons. On Planet Novalis, there will be a pod on the platform you start out on. Take it up to find "Golden Showroom #2". This Showroom has all 10 Golden Weapons. Planet Novalis ~ Bolt 1 of 3From the landing area, go right into the watery area with the platforms. Go up the yellow platforms and come to a room with red trim. Look to the left as you enter the room; you should see a set of stair-like platforms. Do NOT climb these. However, walk over to them. You should notice that the walls are perfect for a wall jump. Wall jump several times between these walls to reach a ledge that has the Gold Bolt upon it. Planet Novalis ~ Bolt 2 of 3From the landing area, head back behind your ship/where you landed. You will find a screw passed the water. Hold onto the screw with the [] button, and turn the D-Pad or Left Analog Pad clockwise or counter-clockwise. Go through here. To the right will be a deep pool of water. Swim through the hole in the wall in the pool to reach the other side. Jump all the way down. To your left will be a boulder you can blow up with your Bomb Glove. After destroying it, go through the newly opened hole and find the Gold Bolt. Planet Novalis ~ Bolt 3 of 3You will need Clank's Hydro-Pack to get this Gold Bolt. From the landing point, jump down to the ground where all of the Robots and Bees are. Continue until you reach the old house that leads to the busted up bridge. Jump in the water and go underwater, continuing to go towards the house and eventually under the house and leading to a secret area. Swim against the current by holding R1. When you surface, you will be in a new area. Explore this very easy cubbyhole to find the third Gold Bolt. Planet Aridia ~ Bolt 1 of 4From the spot in which you find Skid McMarx, cross the metal bridge. Go right at the fork in the path and go passed two more metal bridges. To the right will be a boulder you can blow up with your Bomb Glove to reveal a hidden passage to the 1st Gold Bolt on Aridia. Planet Aridia ~ Bolt 2 of 4In the lava room you found the Trespasser in (Go to the left at the factory entrance to reach this place), look over the ledge; you will see a rotating platform. Jump down on it. In the middle of this platform will be a Gold Bolt. After you get it, go back to the outer part you landed on and Swingshot up to the main platform. Planet Aridia ~ Bolt 3 of 4From Skid McMarx's Agent's location, head to the lone island where you climb up from the factory. Long jump (R1 + X while in motion) into the mud. Hop out of the mud and onto a metal ledge, which is a top corner of the factory. From there, jump to the nearest land. Look to the left (or the longer stretch of land) and you will see the Gold Bolt. Go collect it. Planet Aridia ~ Bolt 4 of 4You will need Ratchet's Magneboots to reach this Gold Bolt. On the left side of the Agent will be metallic ramps you can walk up. Walk up and go into the middle of the big building there. There is your Gold Bolt. Planet Kerwan ~ Bolt 1 of 3At the entrance to the area where you first spot the train, you will notice a narrow platform you can climb up on the right wall. Hold R1 and jump towards it to have Ratchet hang on. Climb up and jump from platform to platform. Be careful and patient. Eventually, you will reach the Gold Bolt. Planet Kerwan ~ Bolt 2 of 3You will need one of Clank's gliding abilities to reach this Gold Bolt. From the platform that your ship is on, center yourself in the middle and jump off while gliding. Face the platform as you glide down. You will notice traffic coming from a hole. Glide into this area and you will find the 2nd Gold Bolt. Planet Kerwan ~ Bolt 3 of 3You will need one of Clank's gliding abilities to reach this Gold Bolt. Go to Captain Qwark's fitness tryout, and get passed the first island. Go toward the top of the second island, and look around off to the side for an area in the distance that you can reach by gliding there. This will have the Gold Bolt on it, as well as a few crates. Take the taxi back to your ship afterwards. Planet Eudora ~ Bolt 1 of 1From the starting point, go passed the Gadgetron Vendor and drop down to the area with the 4 Dual Saw Robots. Kill them, and then notice the two steps ahead. Jump on the first step, then turn around and look in first person mode. You will notice a ledge to the left with the only Gold Bolt in this area. Hold R1 and jump towards the ledge. You should be high enough to reach the ledge. Climb up and grab your Gold Bolt. Blarg Station Nebula ~ Bolt 1 of 2In the room with the Gadgetron Vendor before the boss fight with the Alien Queen, on the right side of the room, hold R1 and jump, then grab onto the ledge above. The Gold Bolt is in one of the holes along the wall, in a room full of frogs. Grab it and get out! Blarg Station Nebula ~ Bolt 2 of 2You will need Ratchet's O2 Helmet to get this Gold Bolt. Remember where you used the Trespasser to let Clank out into space? Now you can visit as Ratchet! This Gold Bolt is simple to get, and easy to find. Just follow the path and get the Gold Bolt, and yes, it will be in sight no matter what. Planet Rilgar ~ Bolt 1 of 2In the cell maze room, jump on the Manhole Cover. Turn to the area you just exited and jump on the circular platform on the frame of the maze. Facing this way, the Gold Bolt is all the way in the right upper hand corner. So walk very carefully straight, then eventually to the right. Land in the cell and grab the Gold Bolt. Hit the button and you will be put out where you started out. Planet Rilgar ~ Bolt 2 of 2You will need Ratchet's O2 Helmet to get this Gold Bolt. Remember the Rising Water area that probably annoyed you? Well, now you can swim underwater without drowning! So go ahead and return to the area. Remember the swirling ramp where the Slime Splitters attacked? Go to that area and look where the ramp begins. Go deep underwater and look for an entrance to a secret area. Follow it. It will lead to a Gold Bolt. Planet Umbris ~ Bolt 1 of 2As you travel deep into Qwark's dwelling, you will encounter fences that you will have to travel in a maze while a turret shoots at you. Shortly after this, you will reach a bridge that you reach via Swingshotting. To the right is a locked door. Go to it. On the right of this will be a ledge with activators on it. Jump over and hit all three to make the door open. Backtrack and go inside for the Gold Bolt. Planet Umbris ~ Bolt 2 of 2 In the room with the big pools, go through the first pool. Once you climb up from inside of the second pool, look off of the ledge to see a closed in area you can jump into. Glide down and get the Gold Bolt. Activate the three buttons to get out of the room. Planet Batalia ~ Bolt 1 of 2Near the start of the level, go down to where the two big buildings face each other. Go to the one on the left. Get to where the Trespasser entry is, and wall jump. You will eventually reach the Gold Bolt up there. Planet Batalia ~ Bolt 2 of 2Pass the first bridge with the Tank upon it. Destroy the Tank and go right at the end of the bridge. Glide over to the hard to reach ledge and cross all of the platforms until you eventually will see a Gold Bolt in your sights. Grab the Gold Bolt. Planet Gaspar ~ Bolt 1 of 2At the start of the stage, get in the middle of the platform you are on and look off the ledge opposite of the elevator. You will notice a ledge down there. Jump down and get out your Swingshot, as there are many hooks along the way. You will encounter Pumps that are hooked to Floating Ships. Destroy the Pumps to destroy the Ships. Be sure to destroy every one of these Pumps along the way. Keep going on until you will eventually reach a mountain area. Climb the mountain and destroy the Pump. On the way down, you will spot another. Destroy it. The reason I note these are the fact that they aren't simple to find. Continue along the path until you reach the final island. There are four Pumps here. Destroy them to reveal the path to the Gold Bolt. Hop along the sinking platforms and reach it. Planet Gaspar ~ Bolt 2 of 2Note that this is one of the harder parts in the game, so you should have purchased several energy upgrades before attempting to get this. From the elevator that you found the Pilot's Helmet on, look off the northeast ledge to see a Volcano Hole. Glide down into it. This path is simple in design, but very complex in battles. Tons of Gun-Toting Robots are down here, as well as Clinger Robots, Pup-Robots, and Reproducing Machines. Be careful. Reach the end to take the elevator up and grab the Gold Bolt. Congratulations! Planet Orxon ~ Bolt 1 of 2In the field of bombs that you entered as Clank, come back as Ratchet after getting the O2 Mask. You will see the Gold Bolt atop a disgusting looking ledge that looks like the insides of a beast. You will need to blow up five layers of skin out of the thing's mouth with Visibomb Gun ammo. Go to the second Gadgetron Vendor that you can only reach as Ratchet and follow the path to the right. It will eventually lead to the disgusting thing. Go inside its throat and get the Gold Bolt. Planet Orxon ~ Bolt 2 of 2From the landing site, enter the area to your right. Go to the newly opened left corridor right before three large pillars, and you will notice on one of the walls in the tucked in area that it is a wall jump area! Wall jump up to get the Gold Bolt. Planet Pokitaru ~ Bolt 1 of 1From the beginning, go forward and passed the first fish area. Go straight and drop into the water. Along the side of this wall, look for a hole. Go into the hole and surface in the next area. Climb the platforms and Slam (Jump + R1 in mid-air) on the lock to build a bridge. Swingshot over. Climb the platforms as you ignore/kill the annoying enemies. When you reach the highest platform, put on your Heli-Pack and High Jump up to the ledge. Climb it and collect the Gold Bolt. Planet Hoven ~ Bolt 1 of 2From the start, keep moving and turn right when you get the chance. Kill all of the annoyances in this area to get a Skill Point, then notice a platform turned vertically. You can wall jump in between this and the mountain, however, it takes very good timing. Once you are up there, grab the Gold Bolt. Afterwards, jump down. An additional strategy from Rik Smit: "It's not just the timing, it's knowing when and, more importantly, where to jump.... After you kill all the Ankle-biters (with the Walloper, see below) you are faced with the task of wall climbing to the Gold Bolt with the aid of a vertical moving platform. Once you know how this is very easy. Just stand in the middle between the wall and the platform. When the platform is at its lowest point start your wall climbing by jumping against the WALL, not the platform and just keep wall jumping up. This way you will always end up on the plateau to collect this (now very easy) Gold Bolt; if successful the jumps are: wall, platform, wall, platform and landing on the top of the plateau. I discovered this because I kept jumping over the top of the moving platform when it was at its highest point, instead of on top of the plateau. So I decided to start my wall-jumping the other way around, and to my amazement I landed on top of the plateau. I immediately jumped off to try it again, just to see if it was a fluke, but I succeeded three times in a row." Planet Hoven ~ Bolt 2 of 2In the room in which you fill and drain water from with the Hydrodisplacer, fill the water to the top. Then swim down to the last room you took water from. Swim in and then surface to the top. There will be a Gold Bolt there. Collect the bad boy. Gemlik Base ~ Bolt 1 of 1After you win the spaceship fight at the end of the level: in the room with the four platforms that get drown in acid every five seconds or so, jump onto the middle platform that stays above the acid and look to your left. Jump into this hole and collect the Gold Bolt. Planet Oltanis ~ Bolt 1 of 4From the main platform, go left and to the metal walkway. Follow this path until you reach the icy path with the Tesla Robot Trap. Look to the right and you will notice a Gold Bolt. Go over and get it. Planet Oltanis ~ Bolt 2 of 4From the 1st Gold Bolt in this area, hang on the upcoming cliff area and hold right until you see the Gold Bolt. Jump up and grab it. Reader Glenn Arbitter sends us this helpful tip... "First is the Gold Bolt located out by "Steve". When you hang walk the ledge to get the Gold Bolt, there's no reason to try and get back on the ledge. Just jump up on the ledge above then walk over and jump onto the ice. Much safer than trying to get back on that ledge. It's almost hard to see but if you look at the ledge you hand walked over from, turn right and look up and you'll see the ledge I'm talking about. It's brown and looks like a hill, sort of. I'm not describing this very well but hey, hope it helps." Planet Oltanis ~ Bolt 3 of 4Along the straightforward path that leads to the InfoBot for Planet Quartu, on the first "Line" path, turn around and notice a Swingshot Hook above and to the left. Swing up and grab it. Planet Oltanis ~ Bolt 4 of 4After completing all of the missions on this Planet, a cut-scene will ensue. Take the platform elevator down and hit the button to reveal several Swingshot hooks. Swing across the yellow hooks until you reach a circular platform. From here, look to your left and notice a ship that comes around that carries a green Swingshot hook. Hook onto this and quickly hook onto the yellow Swingshot hook. You will have to do this several times in the near future. When you reach a platform with nowhere to go, look left for another one of those green hook-carrying ships. Hook onto it and continue until you reach the Gold Bolt. Planet Quartu ~ Bolt 1 of 2YOU NEED THE CODE BOT TO GET THIS! Look around the area for the pod where Clank transforms into Mega-Clank. Use the Code-Bot to unlock a storage area, which carries a Gold Bolt and a LOT of bolts. Planet Quartu ~ Bolt 2 of 2In the room where you visit Clank's Mother, look for a Swingshot hook. Use it to reach the Gold Bolt. Planet Kalebo III ~ Bolt 1 of 2During the Grind Rail Mission, you will encounter three small buttons to hit. One is on the main course, the other two are on a separate grind rail specifically for the two buttons. This rail will be to the right. Afterwards, go left to get off of that rail. Up ahead will be a rail that had a force field blocking it. Jump on that rail and follow it to get your Gold Bolt. Planet Kalebo III ~ Bolt 2 of 2After the grinding area, go to the platform that the Grind Rail stands on. Look over the ledge to find a platform. Jump down and go into the pod. You will be in an odd room with lots of chickens. Grab the Gold Bolt. Drek's Fleet ~ Bolt 1 of 2From the start, go into the water. Hit the three rings and follow the path until you see three more rings. Go through the three of them and turn around. Go to the right and you will come across a Gold Bolt on the surface. Drek's Fleet ~ Bolt 2 of 2Once you are right side-up, go back into the laser room. Go through the lasers until you reach a door on the right. Stand on the right corner of the door where the Guards can't see you, and release two Glove of Dooms. These Doomies will kill all of the enemies, but don't go in until you're sure the Guards are dead. Then follow the path. Shoot the Guard in the next room with the Devastator. Keep going and reach a Gold Bolt. Planet Veldin ~ Bolt 1 of 3In the area after the first Hydrodisplacer Space, there will be a circular platform with Hoppers on it. Kill them and get on it. Face where you just came from and look left. Use the Taunter on the Hopper inside the force field area. He will hit the switch to deactivate the force field. Grab the Gold Bolt inside. Planet Veldin ~ Bolt 2 of 3 Credit for this goes to the ever so wonderful Pete Stewart, who is a great contributor. He's helped my guide more than Mentos are the fresh maker. "Go to the area past the floating platforms where you see two yellow Swingshot hooks but do NOT go across them yet. Turn around 180 degrees. Off to your left is a series of platforms. Follow these platforms to find a bolt. Be careful of the last jump, as the ceiling over the platform is low enough that it could block a jet-pack assisted jump if you're not careful." Planet Veldin ~ Bolt 3 of 3From the first bolt, continue on and go across the floating platforms. Swingshot across the yellow hooks and pass the Invinco-Lock. Follow the path and stop when you reach the green hook. You will see a circular platform. Search the right of the screen to see another platform. Glide down to it and use the grind rail. Follow the path until you reach the end and Wall Jump the Wall Jump area. Gold Bolt gotten. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 6 (continued): Skill Points +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 1. Planet Novalis"Take Aim"Destroy a fighter or a bomber with the Devastator. 2. Planet Aridia"Swing It!"Swing successfully without hitting the ground from all six Swingshot hooks in the factory leading to the Trespasser room. For a strategy, here's reader Rod Dickinson tips! "Earlier this evening it dawned on me in a brainstorm how I should correctly approach the "Swing It" skill point and I was able to do it in a couple of tries. On my earlier attempts, I had swung all the way to the 1st green hook until it automatically released me, and unfortunately, I found it impossible to get to the next green hook with out touching the platform below. The key to successfully completing "Swing It" is to release hold of the 1st green hook just before you get above its platform. That way there's no platform to hit while you're falling as you turn and fire at the 2nd hook." Thanks Rod! 3. Planet Aridia"Transported"Destroy three flying transporters with your Devastator. 4. Planet Kerwan"Strike A Pose"Stand in between the legs of the statue at Big Al's... To do this, carry on your path as if you were going to the Train Station, but stop atop the second elevator. Walk on your left and reach the very ledge of the platform. Look down in first person and you will see the statue in your sights. Glide on down to it and stand in between its legs. Bingo. Skill Point gotten. 5. Planet Kerwan"Blimpy"Use a Visibomb to destroy the blimp in the sky. 6. Planet Kerwan"Qwarktastic"Destroy the Captain Qwark robot at the base of the training center. 7. Planet Eudora"Any Ten"Go towards the ships in the sky and take down any ten of them with the Blaster or other projectile weapon that doesn't cost a lot for ammo. 8. Blarg Station Nebula"Girl Trouble"Destroy the Alien Queen with using your wrench ONLY. Here's a tip from bennyboy regarding this Skill Point... "When I first attempted the "Girl Trouble" skill point, I found that it was very hard to complete because, whenever Ratchet would hit the Alien Queen, she would bite at him straight away as kind of a reflex action. Then I found out that if you go around to her side and do a Hyper-Strike, she would turn around to face the spot where Ratchet hit her. When she is doing this, it is possible to move Ratchet around to her other side and Hyper-Strike her there. This way, she will never actually bite you. The frogs can be easily disposed of by whacking then with a normal hit and then jumping over them before the bite. Finally, Hyper-Striking them from the behind can kill the two smaller lizards. I hope this helps your walkthrough!" 9. Planet Rilgar"Tricky"In the Hoverboard Race, hit a big ramp and jump. Hold Left on the Left Analog Pad and hit R1, R2, L1, and L2 in any order to do a Twisty McMarx. This is very tough, so just keep at it. 10. Planet Rilgar"Cluck, Cluck"Turn a Tank into a Chicken with the Morph-O-Ray. 11. Planet Rilgar"Speedy"Beat the Hoverboard Race in 1:35 Seconds or less. Basically, come back after you've beaten the game. Do NOT try this at first. Hit every ramp, do tricks and don't bail, and use turbo constantly. Jump corners instead of waiting them out, and don't hit ramps. Do whatever you believe would save time. 12. Planet Batalia"Jumper"Go through the Grind Rail without losing any health. Pete Stewart suggests the following: "An interesting tidbit about the "Jumper" skill point on Batalia. Even though the name of the skill point suggests they intend you to jump over obstacles, you can destroy the obstacles instead with your wrench. You can even take out the three in a row that appears at one point if you time it right. Moreover, if you mess it up, but continue to the end and clear out the remaining mines, you can do it again with the track completely clear and it will award you the skill point anyway." 13. Planet Batalia"Accuracy Counts"Destroy a small fighter with the turret at the end of the Planet. 14. Planet Batalia"Eat Lead"Use a Sand Mouse to destroy all Tanks. This is kind of tricky, so make sure you've completely finished the level and have all bridges up. Destroy all enemies except for the Tanks and activate the Mouse House. Let the Mouse blow up all of the Tanks. 15. Planet Gaspar"Destroyed"Destroy all of the Blarg Destroyers. You can do this by destroying all ten destroyers that are located on the path to Gold Bolt #1 on this Planet. 16. Planet Gaspar"Gunner"Take down five of the ships with a turret. Simple. 17. Planet Orxon"Sniper"At the fork in the road at the 2nd Gadgetron Vendor, go left. Go into the building and exit the building after you hit the Swirling Globe. Jump on all of the floating platforms to reach the Crabs on the platform A little farther passed this and you will see a pipe in the wall to your right. Look into the pipe and shoot your Blaster at the Flying Ogre. Be sure not to wake him, as he will leave. 18. Planet Orxon"Hey, Over Here!"Use your Taunter to lure an enemy into the force field (the Swirling Globe ones) 19. Planet Pokitaru"Alien Invasion"Near your ship, use your Visibombs to destroy three of the Blarg Flying Saucers. Kinda tricky, but practice makes perfect. 20. Planet Pokitaru"Buried Treasure"Find and bust up all the crates in the ocean. Easy. 21. Planet Hoven"Pest Control"Destroy all of the Anklebiter enemies near Gold Bolt #1 22. Planet Hoven "Whirlybirds"Destroy five of the Helicos with your Devastator. 23. Gemlik Base"Sitting Ducks"Destroy all of the cargo ships in the base. There is one on the ceiling of the room where you fight all of the Pyro Ground Robots, as well as the Robo-Dogs. If you can't find them all, use Visibombs to search the corridors. 24. Planet Oltanis"Shattered Glass"Bust out all of the streetlights in the city. There are around three platforms that have lights on them, as well. Reader Chris Nebel sends in this lovely tip on all of the locations of the lights... "- 12 near your ship (8 on the landing platform, 4 on the platform just below it) - 4 on the Upper City path -- you can hit them all *before* you get to the first Swingshot hook. - 6 on the Gold Bolt #4 Swingshot path -- two on the second platform, four on the last one." 25. Planet Oltanis"Blast' em"Blow up three Blarg ships. Find a good, high place to do it at, too. 26. Planet Kalebo III"Heavy Traffic"Basically, go on the Grind Rail without hitting a single thing. This is tough. 27. Planet Kalebo III"Magician"Get a score of 4,500 or better in the Hoverboard Race. Don't you just hate these Hoverboard Race Skill Points? =P Here is a tip from Oscar Molina! Thanks Oscar! "For the "Magician" Skill point in planet Kalebo III. There is a very easy way to get 4500 points. Right at the end of the lap but before you go into the 3 ring that open the shortcut, you can make a simple single or double jump and the commit suicide by running into a column or by jumping into the water, you will respawn right back, if you do this a lot (at 20 points it should take 225 times but in reality it takes about 400 because you sometimes do only a single flip for 10 points sometimes you crash before you land and get 0 points." Michiel Lansing sends us this tip... "There is an easier way. You can make the first jump around the corner and then the big jump that goes to a lot of crates. With the first jump you get 0-60 points. With the second (big) jump you can get a lot of points. After the second big jump, you can hoverboard left in the right direction that should be the shortcut from the three rings at the end of the level. The game says "wrong direction" and put you back where you came from. Go for the second time in the wrong direction at the shortcut and the game puts you back at the start/finish of the race. The magician skill point took me less than four minutes." 28. Drek's Fleet"Sneaky"Kill all of the robots in the Hologuise path. 29. Drek's Fleet"Careful Cruise"Complete the three-ring water path without losing health. Tricky, but not that hard. 30. Planet Veldin"Going Commando"Kill ten Elite Guards using only your wrench. One of the easiest Skill Points in the game. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ 7: Contact Information and Dos & Doníts +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ WARNING: Before you e-mail me you should read this note: NO ATTACHMENTS WILL BE READ!!!!
