Blogger Laura McConnell looks back at some deaths in Being Human just not that one
Being Human dropped a bombshell by killing off one of the big four last series, but that was hardly the first death we’ve experienced on the show. Yesterday, I got into a conversation about some of the other losses that have been dealt to our werewolf, ghost, and vampire friends, and I couldn’t help but continue to think on them today. My brain kept reminding me of non-core characters that have come and gone, so I thought I’d take a look at them individually to give them the credit they deserve as part of the history of the show. So, without further ado, I present a memorial to those characters who didn’t get a lot of press, but who nonetheless shaped Being Human into what it is now.
Tully Well, his heart was sort of in the right place. And while we had reason to despise him some in the beginning, at least he earned his redemption in the end. (And thank Toby for that, right? No killing off George! Just not allowed!)
Cara Dude, drama queen much? Good riddance, I say, though you did serve your purpose. Thanks for bringing Herrick back to us.
So there you have it. A mini memorial for those deaths not Mitchell’s. I’m sure I’ve forgotten some, and I’m sure someone here will remind me of them, but these deaths stick out to me as moments that define Being Human without even involving the main characters. And that, my friends, why I love this show so much. Everyone plays their part. Here’s to the little guys. They may not stay long on our screens, but their legacy lives forever.
