The story trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3's first all-new Zombies mission is here, and it's further proof that Tank Dempsey and company just can't catch a break. Der Eisendrache follows the events of the Der Riese (and/or The Giant, a Black Ops 3 remake of the original World at War Zombies finale). Oh, and his time the very fabric of space and time is at stake.
If you don't know the language, you may assume "Der Eisendrache" refers to that iron dragon coming out of the wall in the trailer. But it's actually the German word for killing dozens of enemies before you realize they'll keep respawning until you complete an unrelated objective.
Der Eisendrache is available exclusively as part of Black Ops 3's The Awakening DLC pack, which will hit PS4 first on February 2. The next three packs will continue the story of Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo, and the younger, less evil Dr. Edward Richtofen. I'm still holding out hope for a cameo from Jeff Goldblum's Shadows of Evil character.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and was formerly a staff writer at GamesRadar.
