Ben Stiller considers getting In Deep

DreamWorks must really want to stay in business with Ben Stiller. They’ve teamed up with his production company Red Hour to develop yet another comedy for him.

In Deep tells the tale of a man who tries to fight a parking ticket, only to fall into a Kafka-esque nightmare of criminal allegations and legal trouble. George Beckerman wrote the first draft of the screenplay, which itself has been locked in an unending hell of Hollywood development for two decades, but Stiller has nabbed The Pursuit Of Happyness’ writer Steve Conrad to completely overhaul it.

There’s no word on whether Stiller will actually end up starring in it – for now, he’s busy directing and starring in Tropic Thunder, so consider this one a candidate for the Maybe List…
