Every month we discuss the very hottest gaming topics in our OPM Team Debate. These are the issues that have been setting the Twittersphere alight, causing comment-thread melt-downs, and making grown men smash chairs over each other in pubs. "Sorry officer, but this clown thinks Uncharted 3 is better than Uncharted 2, so I had to glass his teeth out."

So read on, and get your angry typing fingers ready to leave a suitably savage comment at the bottom of the article. Or, y'know, tell us something nice and we'll love you forever. Not carnally. Let's just be friends, ok? Yes, we can spoon...

"Michael ancels new natural wonder will run wild in 2015"

"Michael ancels new natural wonder will run wild in 2015"

Dom Reseigh-Lincoln - Production Editor

I dont tend to get excited that much anymore - save for the sound of new comics falling through the letter box and the overdue news that Yakuzas finally returning to the West - yet the trailer for Michel Beyond Good & Evil Ancels new project still has me buzzing. Amid all the dystopian futures and hellish war zones, the image of a lush, untouched world couldnt be more refreshing. Ancels track record for creating vibrant and charming IP is undeniable, and with the indie sensibilities of a small team but the experience of veterans, Wild could be something really special for PS4.

"I dont need to be able to spell to sell you on Typoman."

Dave Meikleham - News Editor

Contrary to everything 12 years of schooling taught me, spelling can indeed be a laugh riot. Although Im not falling for that Mississippi gag again, smarty pants. Regardless, Typoman may well be the most instantly charming indie Ive set eyes on since Limbo. Playdeads romp through Purgatory casts a long, approving shadow over this 2D puzzle/platformer hybrid; whether thats in your little letter mans forcefully weighted jumps or a fondness for physics-based conundrums. Innovative, charming and really bloody clever, I cant wait for Typoman to teach me about the birds and the spelling bees.

"Remember this one: Gang Beasts. Its destined to become a PS4 party great."

Matthew Pellett - Editor

Ive shocked everybody on the team - even myself - by not picking The Witness (Im justifying that by claiming it isnt under the radar - look out for my hands-on verdict next month). Instead, Im opting for a little game called Gang Beasts, which I first tried at The PlayStation Experience. A four-player physics-based brawler, its a deliberately dumb mashup of Octodad and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Youre a brightly coloured blob-person and must hurl your opponents into giant fans and over the edges of skyscrapers. Expect the best local multiplayer fun since Sportsfriends.

"Mike Bithells next project will have you pumped up for Volume"

"Mike Bithells next project will have you pumped up for Volume"

Phil Iwaniuk - Games Editor

Remember when Mike Bithell made a game about two-dimensional shapes jumping around in sparse areas, and it was excellent? Of course you do. Well, his follow up to Thomas Was Alone is a retelling of Robin Hood against a backdrop of Metal Gear Solids VR Missions, and it promises to hit a higher bar still. People arent shouting about it because Kevin Spaceys jowls arent in it and it doesnt promise a systemic open-world, but after we went hands-on with it we can say it's one to follow closely in the coming months. If he can imbue a square with personality, Bithells onto a winner by breaking into the third dimension.
