Michael Bay maps out Transformers for the next 10 years

While critical opinion has never been particularly kind towards the Transformers series, the films have performed consistently well at the box office, explaining Paramount’s eagerness to move forwards with the fifth episode in the long-running franchise. However, Transformers 5 may just be the beginning, with Hasbro Studios President, Stephen J. Davis revealing future films have been mapped out for the next ten years.

"Well, you’re gonna see a new Transformers movie coming from Hasbro and Paramount and Michael Bay and our other partners," began Davis during an appearance at MIP Junior. "In fact, we just finished, which some of you may have read, just an incredible experience. We decided that we wanted to plot out the next 10 years of the Transformers franchise and so we got together in a room over a three-month period of time."
