The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Cast Talk Mockingjay

With The Hunger Games: Catching Fire just about to invade cinemas, work has already begun on two-part follow-up Mockingjay .

Adapting Suzanne Collins’s trilogy closing novel, the film version will arrive in two parts, a format favoured by those other teen-friendly juggernaut franchises, Harry Potter and Twilight .

So when we caught up with Jennifer Lawrence, director Francis Lawrence and the rest of the Catching Fire cast, we naturally had a few questions about where the follow-up films are heading. Will they be as faithful to the books as the previous films? Will there be any additional material? Are there any particular scenes they’re looking forward to the fans seeing?

Find out what Lawrences #1 and #2, and Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone, Sam Claflin and Jeffrey Wright had to say about the Mockingjay films in the video below:

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens in the UK on 22 November 2013. Mockingjay - Part 1 opens in the UK on 21 November 2014, and Mockingjay - Part 2 opens in the UK on 20 November 2015.
