When Gears of War creator Cliffy B is so taken with your game he invents a new nickname to describe it, you’re probably on to something special. Shoot Many Robots is the real (and rather awesome) title, but with chaotic side-scrolling run-‘n-gun action that’s clearly inspired by Metal Slug, and metal-massacring co-op that’s definitely reminiscent of Borderlands, the alias “Border Slug” fits pretty well too.

Shoot Many Robots releases early next year on XBLA, PSN and PC.
