Saturday news round-up: Knight Rider, Bionic Woman, Tom Cruise

Item! Will NBC Universal bring back Knight Rider ? There are rumblings, reports Variety , that producer Doug Liman is being lined up to create a "Transformers-inspired reworking". Don’t do it – don’t mess with greatness!

Item! Actor Tom Cruise is apparently planning to build a bunker under the Colorado home he shares with Katie Holmes to protect them from alien attack, reports Digital Spy .

Item! The latest instalment of the Hero project (by the artist Martin Firrell , with input from actor Nathan Fillion) now tackles the troubles in Burma. Why not add your voice? Check out the official site update here .

Item! Yoda stamps! The US postal service will be releasing stamps boasting an image of the Star Wars Jedi Master from 25 October (thanks SF Crowsnest ).

Item! The new Bionic Woman premiered last week (26 September) on NBC in America, and received the network's highest Wednesday ratings among adults since The West Wing. The show was also the autumn season's best debut, drawing 13.6 million viewers – check out the story on SCI FI Wire .
