Red Dwarf Dave Episode Synopses UPDATED

Fresh from being posted over at the Dave website...

Back To Earth – Part One
Nine years later the Red Dwarf crew are older but still none the wiser. Lister's busy day of annoying Rimmer is interrupted by the discovery of a dimension-hopping leviathan in the ship's mile-deep water tank.

Back To Earth - Part Two
Rimmer's replacement, Katerina (Sophie Winkleman), is determined to guide Lister back to his home planet. But Earth in 2009 is not everything the boys had expected, and Rimmer has no intention of being replaced.

Back To Earth - Part Three
Knowing they are destined to die, the Dwarfers – in best Blade Runner traditions – track down those responsible for their creation to plead for more life.

And while we're on the subject, there's an exclusive interview with Doug Naylor – co-creator of Red Dwarf and writer of "Back To Earth" - in the latest SFX, on sale now. He reveals that, yes, the mooted idea of an improvised episode has been dropped (for now) and the following titbits, along with much, much more:

“It starts nine years after the last show. Kochanski has died and Holly is down – Lister left a bath tap on for almost nine years and then one night the floor gives way and a million gallons of water fall through the ship, and Holly hasn’t been dried out. That’s where it starts.

“Lister’s not in good shape, and there’s a general air of neglect and malaise. Rimmer, as he’s always done, thinks purely about himself, and because of this everything’s gone down the tubes. He has aged, even though holograms shouldn’t – he hasn’t had holo-services because he didn’t know about them.”
