Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trailer leaks

She's coming! The first trailer for David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo has leaked online, giving us our first glimpse of Rooney Mara in action as Lisbeth Salander.

While we don’t like to condone such blatant internet subterfuge, the footage contained in this 100 second first look is just too exciting to sit on until an official trailer’s unveiled.

Fincher’s adaptation of the first book in Stieg Larsson’s bestselling trilogy, Dragon Tattoo stars Rooney Mara as Lisbeth.

A goth hacker, she helps journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig) investigate the Vanger family, who’ve a crypt groaning with devastating secrets.

A grungy, dark tease, this red-band trailer is effortlessly cool, boosted by Karen O (of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and Trent Reznor's cover of ‘Immigrant Song’.

Featuring no dialogue, but a massive amount of shots – including plenty of Mara, who seems to be giving even Noomi Rapace a run for her money as Lisbeth – it’s a hotbed of awesome imagery. We can't wait.
