Gears of War 4: Collector’s Edition & season pass details: it’s expensive & you get a little man on a bike

If you like Gears of War 4 and spending money then boy, has your ship come in. Microsoft has announced a chunky set of prices for the season pass, game bundles and a $250 collector’s edition.

Let’s work our way up gently with the £39.99/$49.99 season pass. That includes an exclusive "Vintage VIP Pack" with 'vintage' JD Fenix and weapon skins. It also comes with 24 additional DLC maps (released two per month) six Gear Packs unlocking skins, emblems, equipment and boosts, and a Developer Playlist which “grants access to new maps, modes, and features that can be tested prior to broad release”.

The Ultimate Edition includes the game and the season pass for £79.99/$99.99, as well as a steel book and early access to the game, four days ahead of release.

However, if you really want to push the boat out then there’s the $250 Collector’s Edition which packs all that in, as well as a 19 inch long model of JD Fenix on a bike, a lithograph, grenade keyring, even more in-game extras, and a “premium packing box”.
