First official teaser trailer for Muppets Most Wanted: watch now

Muppets Most Wanted has released a teaser trailer online, and you can watch it right here.

Beginning as something of a pastiche on the bold, optimistic trailer promises we’ve come to expect, the Hollywood-ness of it all is quickly punctured by the irascible Animal, who keeps shouting “SEQUEL!” until a montage of clips starts to roll.

There’s not a huge amount of plot revealed in the brief teaser, although it does look like Kermit’ll end up doing time in an internment camp.

Also on hand are the human stars joining the Muppets this time out, with the key characters played by stars of TV comedy including Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey and Ty Burrell. If you watch closely, you’ll probably be able to spot a couple of the obligatory celebrity cameos too…
