This absorbing doc follows the extraordinary work of Cambodian journalist Thet Sambath, whose own relatives were killed in the 1970s during the genocide perpetrated by the Khmer rouge.
Co-directed by Sambath and British filmmaker Rob Lemkin, Enemies incisively interweaves archive footage with revealing interviews with the likes of Pol Pot’s ‘brother no. 2’ Nuon Chea and peasant farmers who participated in the massacres.
