It's the final weekend before Destiny: Rise of Iron so of course his tentacled-ness is back with a blow out sale. Well, when I mean sale, I mean Xur's selling everything at the same prices as normal and has a total no refunds policy but it's the thought that counts, right? He's definitely happy in there. Interestingly this week, Xur is infected with those 'electronic mites' that have been swarming around Guardian heads since yesterday. What exactly is Rise of Iron up to? But to business.
Where is Xur today, you ask? He's back in the Tower near the Speaker.
Here's what's on this week's shopping list.

So what's up first? Plan C of course. If you don't already have it, this is a brilliant fusion rifle that all the other ones want to be when they grow up. If you're sick of the charge time that feels like an absolute eternity while a Taken knight bears down on you then Plan C's ultra fast version is exactly what you need. Add in some nice hip fire accuracy and this is all of the death and none of the waiting. Go get it.
What if you've already got Plan C? Xur's other offerings are a mixed bag. If you're a Titan, there's no excuse not to get No Backup Plans if you're keen on your Force Barrier and a shotgun. The Force Multiplier perk means kills with the weapon will trigger the barrier and the duration will increase. The ATS/8 Tarantella Chest Armour for Hunters is nice if you're a Bladedancer as you'll get faster recharge on your abilities but no need for Nightstalkers or Gunslingers to apply. There's a better use for that Exotic slot.
And finally, saving the best for last, the Heart of the Praxic Fire is probably some of the best armour in the game for Sunsinging Warlocks. This stylish apparel means even faster recharge of your abilities during Radiance, alongside increased Solar armour and boosted agility during your Super. Win.
As ever, be fast, or at least a little faster than you're currently functioning, as Xur's gone again at 10am UK/ 2am PT on Sunday. He'll be back with hopefully some new shiny toys next weekend.
