Call of Juarez shots fired
[PC] The Old West never looked so pretty
Call of Juarez, a first-person shooter set in the Old West, reloaded our screenshot cache today with five powerful new images. Juarez looks better than ever, possessing an authentic feel inside of a photo-realistic (but dusty) world. Impressive lighting, dramatic depth-of-field focus and authentic weapons highlight your trip back in time.
While the wooded and spacious outdoor environs look as detailed and hand-polished as you might find in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the western Juarez trades in Oblivion's open-endedness for a tight, story-driven campaign. You'll alternate in the roles of two different characters - former preacher Ray and Native American outcast Billy - as they search for the murderers of Ray's family.
We'll see more of the multiplayer modes soon - Call of Juarez swaggers into town in September.
