Clarity and Assassin’s Creed get along about as well as the Templars and Assasins (if that didn’t make sense to you, that’s part of the problem). To an outsider Creed’s plot of secret societies, Matrix-inspired memory regression, and the coming apocalypse makes little sense. Hell, we’ve beaten all the previous games and even we’re a little mystified by the franchises’ obtuse plot. No matter what your previous familiarity with the series is, it’d probably do you some good to watch this recap trailer if you plan on picking up Assassin’s Creed Revelations tomorrow.
Revelations is apparently the final game to star Ezio so you may need this little primer before you say goodbye to him. We enjoyed Revelations enough to give it an 8/10, though we did feel like maybe Assassin’s Creed could use a little break. Oh, Ubisoft is publishing one next year? Never mind then.
